If someone smiles at you when you get into the elevator and says, "What floor are you on?" Dear friends, how do you feel? Very comfortable, maybe I was in a good mood that day. Therefore, politeness is the most beautiful distance between people, which should be taught. So I often tell my students, as well as their parents, I say, "Is it more important to study etiquette or to get a score of 98 to 100?" Q: It is important to learn etiquette. Is it important to learn correct attitudes and concepts all your life, or is it important to pull the score from 98 to 100? Which is more important? Learning manners is very important. Everyone thinks politeness is very important. Q: Do parents do the former or the latter? A: The latter. Why? I never thought about it. The elder said, which country is left in the four ancient civilizations? Why is there only one ancient civilization left in thousands of years of world history in China? What is the reason? This is worth thinking about. Could it be that the ancestors of the four ancient civilizations said in front of the gods, "Come on, we don't have to die if we draw lots, and that nation doesn't have to die if we draw lots?" No. Is it a lucky draw? This sign is only in Chinese painting by our ancestors, so we don't have to break our culture. Absolutely not. Why can China's ancient civilization be passed down for thousands of years? I believe in Egypt or West Asia. Why did their ancestors invent writing in the first place and record their experiences through writing? Why write? If he only thinks about his food, clothing, housing and transportation every day, will he carve these patterns and words on the stone? He has two daughters, one in grade two and the other in grade four. I took the rules of two apprentices and drove for three hours to find my sworn brother. I sat in the restaurant and didn't eat any food. I have no choice. I began to explain to him one by one, telling him that every word has a far-reaching impact on the child's life, and so on. As a result, when I was just halfway through, I suddenly felt very sad. My tears fell down and I was silent for three minutes on the spot. Later, when my mood calmed down, he said to me, "I heard from a university professor that no one speaks like you." I explained it to him. I said, "When I was just in the middle of reading it, I suddenly felt that if a teacher explained these truths to me when I was a child, I could take fewer wrong roads and detours in my life. We just met last year, so we introduced the teachings of these sages, including the rules of disciples. He is very emotional. He said, "My son is so old, it's too late." Friends, is it too late? It is never too late to mend. I told him that if you are sincere, you should still use your sincerity and patience to reverse the child's mind. Of course, this project is bigger. Because he has such a deep regret, he always puts Disciples Rules in his bag. One day, I cut my hair and cut my hair at the same time, without wasting time. I also introduced these teachings of Disciple Rules to the barber, who was just pregnant and had not given birth to a child. After I introduced it to her, I gave her the CD of Disciples Rules. Therefore, when the barber went back, he often listened to the rules of the apprentice, and later gave birth to a boy. Our friend went to get a haircut again. She told him, "As soon as my son makes a noise, I will put down the Disciple Rules and read them, and he will stop crying at once." Because he has deep regrets, he doesn't want others to repeat his mistakes, so this friend has such a deliberate intention, believing that he will accumulate great blessings, which will also protect his descendants. We also believe that his children will gradually see these role models of their fathers and then improve their behavior. Now that we know that our ancestors have such high wisdom and passed on the culture for thousands of years, we will have a deep understanding of what the sages of China taught us. I often ask my friends, I say, are you from China? Why is there no response? You've been thinking about it for a long time. Will you think about it for so long? Q: Are you from China? A: Yes. The sound is not very loud. Why do you ask this question? When I often ask questions, my voice is always low at first. Later, when I asked them for the second time, they said "yes" very loudly. Do I have to speak out loud? Pay attention to the essence when the voice is loud, not the milk. I often ask them a question. I said that if a person grew up in the United States from birth and his parents are from China, we can guarantee that his lineage must be orthodox China: Q: But whose thoughts are he? A: Western thinking. Is bloodline more important, or ideology more important? Will his blood affect his life? His thoughts will affect his lifelong intention and attitude towards people, so his thoughts are more important. So, my friends, although we are bleeding from China, do our thoughts come from China? It depends on our careful thinking. Frankly speaking, the teachings of our China sages have been broken for two or three generations, so we are shouting "Yes" now, but we should also really understand our current concepts, whether they are eastern or western. In civilized countries all over the world, this civilization should be in brackets, material civilization, not spiritual civilization. In this country with developed material civilization, their ideas are biased towards western ideas. Let's see, are they also biased towards western ideas? Westerners' thinking is self-centered and self-perfect, and the communication between people will form a "competitive" state. When the competition reaches a certain level, it will rise to a state, and they will start attacking each other. "War" will rise again and become "the end of the world". I often walk on the road and see four words posted on the telephone pole, which are called "the end is here". Dear friends, is the end here? Many people will think that the end result is that the atomic bomb goes down, the nuclear bullet goes down, and then the earth goes bad, but it is not like this. What is the ending? When people's thoughts are not like people's, it is difficult to live. When morality and ethics are ruined, human life is no different from animals. That day, we went to Shantou to give a speech. They studied classics in Shantou for more than a month, and taught their children to behave themselves, starting with Disciples' Rules. After more than a month, the teacher held a small activity to let each child share his learning experience for more than a month. There is a seven-year-old child on the stage. He said, "I didn't know that a man should be filial until I learned the Disciples' Rules." This sentence is very tasty. He didn't know that a man should be filial until he learned it. So now many old people are very angry with these children or teenagers. "Don't you know you should be filial?" Do they know? People don't learn or know. "People don't learn and don't know righteousness." Can you blame these children? It is because adults don't understand the basics of being a man that they have not passed on, so the root cause is still on us adults. It is unfair to blame all the children for this biased behavior now. The child went on to say, "Before I went to learn disciples' rules, I thought about how to murder my parents every day", at the age of seven. When he said this, his mother was dumbfounded, and her expression was very surprised. I believe that in her life, her children are seven years old. I never thought that her children would think so. While listening, tears kept flowing. Why? The child said that I was forced to do this and that every day, and both husband and wife were very busy. Busy as hell, can the child feel that you love him? I can't feel it, so father and son have no relatives. You also forced him to learn a lot. What is the purpose of forcing children to learn many things? I often say that scholars used to be interested in sages, but now people are interested in making money. Sages are much worse than making money. Making money is selfish, and the children raised in this way will not become good people. The direction proposed in this way is biased and wrong. When the direction is wrong, you have to get lost and pull it back quickly, so the action of pulling it back is very urgent. China's education policy lasted for thousands of years and never changed, even when the Yuan Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty entered China. Why did the Yuan Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty both occupy China without changing China's education policy? Because he deeply understands the profoundness of China culture and its far-reaching influence on a person, a society and a country, they are unmoved, so they know it well. Let's look at the heyday of the Qing Dynasty. Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong were all emperors who liked China culture best, so they studied deeply the teachings of sages in China and knew that such an education policy could make families happy and society stable and prosperous, so they didn't change. Nowadays, children are very competitive and narrow-minded under competition. When people are narrow-minded, life will be very painful, and they will suffer from loss every day. At the end of the game, it will be offensive to people and turn into war. So we turn on the news every day, and there must be reports of war. If war can really solve things, then we can accept it. The question is whether war can solve the problem. Even make the problem worse. So let's see if the war led by the United States now has a good result. There is no good result. None of the wars managed by the United States has a happy ending. Of course, Americans can't be blamed, because they don't have ancestors like China, and they don't have the inheritance of sages for thousands of years, and even because they haven't studied Disciples Rules. There is a saying in Disciples' Rules that he understands and learns, so he will not solve the problem by war. What sentence? "Potential to convince people, absent-minded. If you convince people, you will be speechless. " You oppress others with power and force. What are their hearts like? "Otherwise", I will get up and get back at you at the first opportunity. "Persuade people", you treat him with the truth of being a real person, think for him, care for him, let him admire you from the heart and live in harmony with you. You see, such an important sentence was taught in China Sage Education's first book on children's education. So the United States has caused many wars now, and the whole world has been involved in the shadow of war. And what impact does this performance of the United States have on his next generation? Good or bad? Have a bad influence. Therefore, I just said, "Teacher, what he did above will be effective below", so if he did well above, he would learn well. He doesn't teach well above, nor does he learn well. So the problem of youth education in the United States is very serious now.
