Basic theoretical knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, mastering the physiological functions of the five zang-organs and the actual health preservation of the five zang-organs
Su Wen's theory of five zang-organs differentiation says: "The five zang-organs store essence without diarrhea." In traditional Chinese medicine, the five internal organs refer to the liver, heart, spleen, lung and kidney, and their main function is to store essence.

(1) liver

The liver is located under the right flank of the human body, and it mainly has the functions of storing blood and stopping diarrhea.

① Store blood. Wang Bing, a famous ancient medical scientist, once said: "Blood is hidden in the liver, but when people are not moving, blood is hidden in the liver, and the liver is a treasure trove for storing blood. When the human body is in a relatively static state, such as when the human body is resting in bed, the human body needs less blood, so a large amount of blood will enter the liver, and the liver will become a warehouse for storing blood. When the human body carries out activities, such as physical labor or sports activities, the human body needs more energy and oxygen, and at this time the human body needs more blood; In this way, a large amount of blood stored in the liver will be exported to ensure the normal physiological activities of the human body. Thus, the liver plays a dual role of "blood collection basin" and "blood volume regulator".

② Drain. Liver qi has the functions of evacuation and softening. On the one hand, the catharsis function of liver can regulate the qi of spleen and stomach, on the other hand, it can also regulate the mental state of human body. If the excretion function of the liver is abnormal, it is easy to cause abnormal function of the spleen and stomach, resulting in irritability, irritability, insomnia and other adverse symptoms.

③ Other functions of the liver. Because the liver has two functions of storing blood and purging, it also has the function of nourishing tendons and nourishing eyes.

(2) Heart

The heart is located in the left position of the center of the chest, which is the hub of human life activities, and mainly has the functions of promoting blood circulation and regulating consciousness.

① Promote blood circulation. Blood is a substance that provides nutrition for the human body, and it runs in the pulse. Only by ensuring the normal operation of blood can we provide nutrition for various physiological activities of human body in time and fully, and the heart is the main driving force to promote blood circulation. If the heart function is weak, the blood circulation will be blocked. The human body will have malnutrition, pale face, weak pulse and other adverse symptoms.

(2) regulating consciousness. Essence and qi are hidden in the heart, and God is the comprehensive expression of essence and qi. Therefore, the heart has the function of regulating consciousness. If the heart is sick, it is likely to have bad symptoms such as forgetfulness, insomnia and mental confusion.

③ Other functions of the heart. The heart is closely related to the secretion of sweat, which is metabolized by body fluids under the action of the heart and finally excreted through the skin; The qi and blood of the heart communicate with the tongue, and it is under the action of the heart that the physiological function of the tongue can remain normal. If the tongue has abnormalities such as redness and erosion of the tip of the tongue, it is possible that the heart function will be abnormal.

(3) Spleen

The spleen is located in the middle jiao, which has the functions of transportation, muscle nutrition and blood circulation.

① Traffic. Spleen mainly transports Shui Gu. First of all, the spleen is the digestive assistant of the stomach, which can promote the digestion of food by the stomach; In addition, the spleen absorbs and transports nutrients produced by Shui Gu. Shui Gu can be converted into nutrients that can be absorbed by the spleen after being digested by the stomach. After being absorbed by the spleen, these nutrients will be transported to the lungs and then to other parts of the human body through veins, providing sufficient energy for various physiological activities of the human body.

② Nourish muscles. After the nutrients in Shui Gu are absorbed by the spleen, some of them are transported to the muscle, so that the muscle can get sufficient nutrition and lay a good foundation for muscle fullness and compactness.

3 unify the blood. Spleen can transport Shui Gu, and Shui Gu is the root of biochemical qi and blood. Therefore, the spleen can regulate blood circulation, make blood run normally in the pulse, thus effectively avoiding blood overflow.

(4) Lung

The lungs are located in the center of the chest, high above the chest. It is superior to any viscera and has the function of regulating qi and regulating water.

① Main qi. Breathing, that is, inhaling fresh air from nature and exhaling dirty gas in the body, is inseparable from the lungs. It is under the action of the lungs that the human body can breathe normally and go to the old and welcome the new. The essence formed by the gas absorbed by the lungs and water particles can be synthesized into ancestral qi in the human body. On the one hand, this gas can regulate the physiological activities of various tissues in the human body, on the other hand, it can also regulate people's breathing and voice.

(2) through the water channel. The lung can regulate the movement of water in the human body, making water and liquid move smoothly, thus effectively promoting the metabolism of water and liquid. If the lung function is abnormal, it is easy to have problems such as poor urination and edema.

③ Other functions of the lung. The lung is closely related to the human nose, which is the passage for lung qi to enter and leave the human body, and its function will also be affected by the lung. If the lung function is normal and breathing is smooth, the function of the nose is relatively normal. On the contrary, the function of the nose is prone to abnormality. The lung can also nourish the fur on the body surface by regulating the waterway.

(5) Kidney

The kidney is located at the waist, which mainly has the function of storing essence and water.

1 Tibetan essence. Kidney essence storage mainly includes congenital essence and acquired essence. Congenital essence is the source of life, which is inherited by parents and has the function of promoting human growth and reproduction. The essence of the day after tomorrow is formed by the food ingested by the human body, which can provide sufficient nutrition for the human body to carry out various physiological activities.

2 hide water. The kidney can regulate the water in the human body, it can warm the body fluid in the water and make it play a better role; It can also transport excess water in the body to the bladder and finally excrete it through the urethra.

② Other functions of the kidney. Kidney also has the function of nourishing bones and promoting brain development.
