Mr. Liuhe: Answering questions in Tao Te Ching
Yesterday was Mother's Day, and it was also a day to study and summarize the Tao Te Ching. It is also the day when our most respected Mr. Liuhe answered our questions in the process of studying Tao Te Ching. The host and the class Committee opened the summary of last night with a crisp and pleasant voice!

Tao Te Ching says that Tao, if beneficial, is useless, that is, tangible things play a convenient role and intangible things really play a role. Similarly, building a house should have doors and windows, which is an empty shelf. There are no doors and windows, but all walls. How can I get in and out? A room is a room with doors and windows. ? Reality "being" and "emptiness" are indispensable and interdependent. "Empty" works and "real" provides convenience. Laozi often tells a story from the opposite side, reminding us whether the intangible parts of the role exist with each other, whether they exist, whether they are the mother of all things, and whether they are not, whether they are the beginning of all things. The greatest energy in the world is distributed in places we can't see, but it carries our world.

Einstein also said that love is the most powerful force, because love has no limit, because we live because of love, because we die because of love. We should use the energy of love correctly, love ourselves and give love and kindness to people around us as much as possible. This is the law of the universe and the meaning of our existence. Therefore, we should persist in learning from ourselves, influence our relatives, friends and colleagues around us, and make learning a habit and love a habit. Don't doubt and hesitate.

Some students asked: As the Tao Te Ching said, "unattainable." However, in work and study, some people have low ideological awareness and their efforts are not in place. How can we guide them to the realm of "I am natural"?

Mr. Liuhe answered: This sentence is about the relationship between people. Tao Te Ching talks about the heaven in the universe and the law of life reality in the universe. Different people will have different interpretations when they read the Tao Te Ching. Managers realize the way of management in the middle, and people who keep fit will realize the way of keeping fit. People who study have learning methods and happiness.

Generally, people who read this chapter interpret it from the perspective of management. Management relationships are everywhere. In the country, there are superiors and subordinates, leaders and led, managers and managed people in enterprises, including our family, parents and children. This is also a management relationship. Therefore, it can be used in all aspects of our lives.

I know nothing about it. It is the best state between the manager and the managed, and it is an idle state. Take parents managing children as an example. The most knowledgeable parents are saints, who teach by doing nothing, teaching without words, and teaching by example is more important than teaching by words. When parents do well and badly, they don't care about their children at all. Children grow up in the process of learning, don't know the existence of their parents, and don't need their parents to supervise them all the time.

Similarly, in an enterprise and a country, there is a state of doing nothing and teaching without words. Managers and managed, leaders and led people live and work in peace and contentment, and do their own things. The next person doesn't know where the superior is at all, because he doesn't need the supervision of the manager, and he will naturally do things well.

There are also many descriptions of this realm in our lives. We often say that when a person is upright, he will act without orders. If a person's body is not upright, he will not obey orders. In other words, if you don't give an order, the order will be carried out naturally. This is just ignorance.

We often say that first-class leaders use wisdom, second-rate leaders use strength, and third-rate leaders use their own strength. A really good leader is to inspire all the wisdom of his subordinates and then leave them alone. Let's go our separate ways and do everything naturally.

Secondly, the leader close to him is a second-rate leader. Second, when a leader thinks everything, his subordinates will carry it out, set an example by themselves, and his subordinates will do as the leader does, so they will also be praised and close to them. Third, they are afraid of it. Many leaders have no influence on themselves and often use some systems and punishments to scare the people below.

The lowest-level leader is that he not only does things unfairly, but also has problems with the implementation system. The people below are very opposed to him, so he will be insulted.

Some subordinates are very disobedient, or there is no way to deal with him. It is impossible for him to be educated. How can we make him achieve such a state of inaction?

In fact, the relationship between the manager and the managed is mutual. If a manager has power and influence, he is already in a high position, but he has no non-power influence. It is also unfair to focus on the managed. The story of Dayu's water control is to do nothing, be yourself completely, and then the people below will naturally be educated.

From the manager's point of view, we should not only talk about the people being managed, but also pay attention to ourselves, which is what Confucius said: cultivate one's morality and cultivate one's nature, and be prepared for danger in times of peace.

When your personality influence is high enough, you will be able to reach the first and second management realms.

A gentleman seeks for himself, while a villain seeks for others. A gentleman always looks for reasons from himself. When you have enough energy and personality charm, there is no problem of how to manage, and you can't do anything bad for yourself. In our enterprises in China, those excellent managers are trained by themselves, so management is never a problem.

Question 2: It should be almost a month since we read Tao Te Ching every day in the group. In the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu taught us to be humble and keep quiet, so as to be safe. How can we really do this in our work and life?

Mr. Liuhe answered: The six-character cultivation method proposed by Laozi is applicable to all Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, to all body and mind, and to all cultivation methods at all times and in all countries.

Keeping quiet means that we should relax ourselves when we practice. Being in a quiet state is all the practice methods. Why do people go to the deep forest to practice? Because the mountains and forests can make it easier for us to be calm. If we practice in the world of mortals, we all meditate in this way. When you sit cross-legged, first relax yourself and then watch your breathing. These methods are all to calm yourself down.

There is also a description in Huangdi Neijing, that is, indifferent to nothingness, obeying the true qi, hiding the spirit in it and never getting sick. When a person is indifferent to nothingness, it is a state of emptiness, just like what Lao Tzu said.

Reaching emptiness is zero, emptying our minds of thoughts, thoughts and ourselves. In particular, don't have self-righteous thoughts and egoism, and letting go of yourself is to achieve emptiness.

Vanity, keeping quiet, tells us to find a quiet place where we can completely relax and let ourselves go. At this time, the wisdom of the avenue will naturally grow, and conscience is the Tao. Everyone's self-sufficient conscience is the Tao. When we are in a state of emptying ourselves and relaxing quietly, Tao will naturally appear and conscience will naturally appear. This is cultivation, that is, cultivating the mind.

Plain nothingness means that our body and mind are very relaxed, and there are no delusions and self-righteous thoughts in our hearts. At this time, it is a state of self-cultivation, that is, when qi arrives, qi moves at will, and our inner qi and blood are synchronized with our thoughts and ideas. When we are indifferent, qi can flow all over the body, which is the unity of body and mind. At this time, we can't afford to get sick.

Each of us is habitually self-righteous, because there is a gap between the truth that everyone believes and the objective truth. We are easily kidnapped by a kind of knowledge, easily bound by an idea, and easily hypnotized by ourselves, so we have no idea where we are and where our thoughts come from. What are we clinging to?

Therefore, communication between people is very difficult. If you really want to communicate with someone deeply and exchange ideas, you will find that there will be many conflicts. For example, between husband and wife, it is because everyone's ideas are different and very different. Therefore, if people want to communicate, they must learn to be extremely quiet, so that it is possible to achieve heart-to-heart communication.

Question 3: Lao Tzu said in Chapters 18 and 19 that the good qualities in the world, such as benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and faith, will only appear because the avenue is abandoned. If everyone is enlightened, there will be no "virtue". These qualities exist now, indicating that the avenue has been abandoned. So, why was the avenue abandoned? What does the teacher think of the theory of good nature and evil nature?

Teacher Liuhe replied: First of all, I will tell you a case. For example, our family is very United and harmonious. As children, I am very filial and my family is very harmonious. Is it necessary to talk about the word filial piety at this time? Will you consider the topic of who is filial and who is unfilial? Of course not, because it is in a state of natural harmony, and Tao is natural.

That's the nature. Love is home, father loves filial piety, husband and wife love each other, and family is harmonious. Such a state naturally exists, and it is impossible to mention benevolence and filial piety.

When everything is logical, we will not mention these things again, and we will often make up for our own shortcomings. For example, in the 1970 s and 1980 s, five stresses, four beauties and three loves not to spit everywhere, and so on. These things are put forward because there is no five stresses, four beauties and three loves in society. If everyone has done it, is it necessary for us to mention this?

When a society vigorously advocates filial piety and advocates that people should be kind, it is precisely when this society lacks kindness and filial piety.

The morality in Laozi's Tao Te Ching is different from that in our present life. The morality in our life now is benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and faith. Laozi's Tao is the law, the origin and noumenon of all things in the world, and the law of universal life. Everything is called Tao, Tao is the body of virtue, and virtue is the use of Tao. Words and deeds that conform to the Tao are called morality.

On the moral level, there is unity, Tao gives birth to everything, and everything has its own way. There is no difference between hearts. The whole society is naturally harmonious. Once benevolence and wisdom are advocated, there will be binary opposition, and if there is benevolence, there will be inhumanity.

The state of respecting Tao and morality is a state of inaction, so why is the avenue abolished? It is because everyone in our hearts has self-righteous ideas and selfish desires, and once these things are there, they will be separated.

When our separation heart comes into being, morality does not exist, because once there is opposition, it is a departure from morality.

The theory of good nature and evil nature are the most basic in our traditional culture. For the interpretation of the truth of human nature, Mencius said that the beginning of life is good, Xunzi said the beginning of life, and inherent vice and Gao Zi said that human nature is like water, and there is no good or evil.

Mencius' theory of good nature is about human nature and conscience. Everyone has a pure and kind conscience and good ingredients. Xunzi's theory of evil nature is mainly aimed at human nature. Everyone is born with a vicious nature of pure evil and no good. Gao Zi is talking about a habit that a person has acquired. The acquired habits are good and bad, and there is no distinction between good and evil. Because of the influence of the day after tomorrow, both good and evil appeared.

Thanks to the teacher's great love sharing and careful interpretation, I am unusually quiet, indifferent, calm and firm, let go of selfishness, let go of myself, follow the teacher's footsteps, walk on the road and enjoy life!
