Taoist certificates are not recognized by the National Health Bureau.

Taoist certificate is not a nationally recognized certificate type. The nationally recognized doctor qualifications include: practicing doctor certificate (stamped by People's Republic of China (PRC) and Ministry of Health), practicing assistant doctor (stamped by People's Republic of China (PRC) and Ministry of Health), Chinese medicine (specialist) doctor qualification certificate (stamped by provincial administration of traditional Chinese medicine) and rural general practitioner (assistant) doctor (stamped by People's Republic of China (PRC)).

If the stamped unit is a non-governmental unit such as XX Skills Training Center, XX Examination Center, XX Committee and XX Skills Appraisal Center, the Health Bureau will not recognize it, nor will any government department.

Grading and classification of doctor qualification examination;

The doctor qualification examination is divided into two grades: the practicing doctor qualification examination and the practicing assistant doctor qualification examination.

The doctor qualification examination is divided into four categories: clinical, traditional Chinese medicine (including traditional Chinese medicine, ethnic medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine), oral and public health.
