Extended data:
The origin of Buddhist boxing;
China martial arts master Liang Tianzhu founded Nanpai Liangmen martial arts, which was named Buddhist Boxing by Jiangmen Yin martial arts master (Hong Kong was named snake carver by Liang). After more than half a century, it has been taught in Cenxi, Wuzhou, Cangwu, tengxian and Liuzhou in Guangxi, Guangzhou, Taishan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Dongguan, Luoding, Yangchun, Yangjiang, Zhanjiang and Hainan in Guangdong.
Jiangmen is an important development area for the inheritance of Southern Buddhism Boxing. In order to better inherit Buddhist boxing, Jiangmen Overseas Chinese Hometown Wushu Culture Heritage Plan was launched and spread to the world. It is now promoted by Mr. Ou Guoxiong, the third generation descendant of Foquan, the sixth stage of China Wushu, the national first-class social sports instructor, the former secretary-general of Jiangmen Wushu Association, the founder and the first president of Foquan Association.
The training base of Nanpai Buddhist Boxing was set up in Deqiang Martial Arts Hall in Jiangmen City, which comprehensively guided and implemented the teaching methods, means and innovative ideas of Nanpai Buddhist Boxing among professors, and created brilliant achievements for the popularization and development of Nanpai Buddhist Boxing.
