After Qiu Chuji returned to his hometown, Wang Zhongyang was depressed all day, drowned his sorrows by drinking, and began a life of self-abandonment. In the eyes of the villagers, he changed from "Wang Shixiong" to "the evil wind of the king". During this period, he once intended to convert to Buddhism, but failed because no abbot would take him in.
However, as Mencius said, "Heaven will take great responsibility for Sri Lankan people, so we must first suffer from their bones and muscles and their minds." The madman who spent all day in the pub said that when he was eighteen, he met two immortals in the pub of Ganhe Town, and they taught him the formula at that time. Later, a kind-hearted person said that the two immortals Wang Zhongyang met were the incarnations of Zhong Liquan and Lv Dongbin among the Eight Immortals, and they were dedicated to guiding him. Influenced by other people's rumors, Wang Zhongyang really converted to Taoism. Later, Wang Zhongyang's adventure of meeting two immortals, Zhong Liquan and Lv Dongbin, was also called "Ganhe meets immortals" by Quanzhen disciples.
Shortly after meeting a fairy in Ganhe, Wang Zhongyang met another famous fairy-Liu Haichan, which strengthened his confidence and decided to become a fairy. So he left his wife, children and the noisy world. The most surprising thing is that he also dug a cave more than 40 meters deep at the foot of Zhong Nanshan Mountain and named it "the tomb of the living dead". Since then, he has been staying in the tomb to retreat, which shows that he bid farewell to his past life and changed his bones.
A few years later, he returned to Liujiang village to practice and preach. However, the villagers' prejudice against him has not changed. They think that "Wang is harmful to the wind" is crazy, so no one wants to believe him and no one wants to practice medicine with him. Wang Zhongyang had no choice but to leave his hometown and go to Shandong to create a new situation.
As the saying goes, "monks in the distance like to recite scriptures." Although Wang Zhongyang is not a monk, but a Taoist, he is also very popular in Shandong. He successively established three religions and seven treasures societies in Ninghai, Wendeng, Fushan, Dengzhou and Laizhou to show the essence of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and founded a new religion-Quanzhen religion. Since then, it has won the support of many people, and many people have joined Quanzhen Sect. Since Ma Zi, Danyang, he has successively surrendered Chu Rui of Changchun rosewood, Chu Xuan of Changsheng Liu Zi, Chu Ji of Changchun Qiu Zi, Chu Yi of Yuyang Zi Wang, Hao Datong of Guangning Zi and Ren Parr of Jingjing. These seven people are called "Quanzhen Seven" and become the backbone members of Quanzhen Sect.
Wang Zhongyang's Quanzhen religion was a great success in Shandong, so he wanted to go back to his hometown to preach. But as soon as he returned to Kaifeng, Wang Zhongyang became ill. He could not recover and died the next year.
After Wang Zhongyang's death, Ma Jue, the eldest disciple, took charge of the seal of the leader. After three years of mourning for Wang Zhongyang, Ma Jue stayed in Liujiang Village as the headquarters of Quanzhen Sect, and other disciples went out to preach and recruit disciples. Since then, the reputation of Quanzhen religion has grown bigger and bigger.
Among the seven sons of Quanzhen, the most famous is Qiu Chuji, the son of Changchun.
Qiu Chuji, whose real name is Tong Mi, was named Changchun Zi. /kloc-when he was 0/9 years old, he studied in Wang Zhongyang in Ningdi. After Wang Zhongyang's death, Qiu Chuji devoted himself to practicing in Longmenshan and founded the Longmenshan Sect, namely Quanzhen Sect. When he practices, he always wears a hat, which will not change even if it is cold and hot. Because of his clothes, the whole world calls him "Mr. coyle"
1220, Genghis Khan sent a special envoy to meet Qiu Chuji on his way to Europe. At this time, Qiu Chuji, who was over 70 years old, resolutely led his disciples 18, and went west to Vandory for four years. At the top of the snowy mountain, he met Genghis Khan in Afghanistan today. Qiu Chuji knew that Genghis Khan especially liked the art of immortality at that time, so he talked with Genghis Khan about the way of keeping in good health and the strategy of governing the country, and he was appreciated by Genghis Khan. Genghis Khan repeatedly asked him about the elixir of life. Qiu Chuji said to him, "There is only a way to live forever, and there is no medicine to live forever." Genghis Khan saw his honesty and liked him even more. So he asked about the plan to unify the world. Qiu Chuji replied: "If you want to unify the world, you can't kill too many people. After all, people who kill people without blinking an eye cannot unify the world. "
He further suggested that Genghis Khan should "reduce the killing, control his own desires, respect God and love the people". Genghis Khan accepted his suggestion, honored him as a "Buddhist immortal", gave him an army tiger charm, and gave him a great imperial seal to lead the people of the whole country to believe in Taoism. By this time, due to the advocacy of the imperial court, the whole country believed in Quanzhen religion, and Quanzhen religion reached its peak.
Later, Qiu Chuji returned to Shandong, where he successively worked in Kunyu Mountain in Qixia and Yunmen Mountain in Qingzhou. Later, Quanzhen Qizi came to Laoshan to promote Quanzhen teaching method. All Taoist priests in Laoshan accepted the Quanzhen school theory and returned to Quanzhen school. Each Taoist temple in Laoshan Mountain was merged into each faction of Quanzhen Chess. Then Qiu Chuji practiced in Laoshan Cave.
In the 21st year of Yuan Taizu, Qiu Chuji died in Baiyun Temple. He was 79 when he died. At that time, there was no funeral for him, but his coffin was placed in Shuntang, Baiyunguan, for disciples to pay homage to. Three years later, when his disciples changed clothes for him, they found his hands and feet as soft as cotton and his face as rosy as a living person.
