The main manifestation is the increase of systemic arterial blood pressure and its damage to heart, brain and kidney.
Traditional Chinese medicine of this disease belongs to the category of "dizziness" and "headache". Traditional Chinese medicine believes that hypertension is most closely related to liver and kidney. There are three causes: anger, anxiety or long-term mental stress, which can cause stagnation of liver qi, inflammation of liver fire and imbalance of wind and yang; Overeating, spleen and stomach damage, spleen loss of health, fire burning body fluid, phlegm. Phlegm turbidity is endogenous, disturbing liver wind and clearing orifices; Old age strain or kidney deficiency, liver dystrophy, liver yin deficiency, liver yang hyperactivity, upper disturbance and resuscitation. The above reasons interact with each other, causing imbalance between yin and yang, leading to hypertension.
Common symptoms and causes
Diagnostic criteria of hypertension: systolic blood pressure is greater than or equal to140mmhg. Or the diastolic pressure is greater than or equal to 90 mm Hg. The main clinical manifestations are dizziness and headache. Hyperactivity of liver yang is accompanied by redness and irritability; Yin deficiency and hyperactivity of yang lead to tinnitus, soreness of waist and knees, and five restlessness and fever; When phlegm and dampness are abundant, headache is severe, chest pain is stuffy, loss of appetite, vomiting and spitting.
Etiological analysis and differentiation
Moxibustion has a good effect on regulating hypertension. After moxibustion, the blood pressure of some patients gradually stabilized and even returned to normal. After moxibustion, the blood pressure of some severe patients drops to a certain extent, and there may still be abnormalities, but the symptoms such as dizziness, headache, leg weakness and insomnia will be significantly improved.
