As a livable city, the environment should be good, the altitude should not be too high, the climate should be moderate, it should not be too cold in winter and too hot in summer. Through my ten-year historical climate tracking of these three cities, we can see that the climate in Yunnan belongs to a better region.
Average annual temperature in Mengzi 18.6. Many people say that it is very hot in summer and a little cold in winter, which is wrong. The coldest January in Mengzi, with the low temperature of 6- 14 and the high temperature of 13 -22, is very comfortable in winter. In the hottest July and August, the temperature is basically 2 1-32. The average annual air relative humidity in Mengzi is 65%, which is very pleasant. The elevation of Mengzi urban area is1307m, with moderate elevation.
The summer temperature in Yuxi is around 18 -27, which is generally about 3 degrees lower than that in Bimeng. These three cities are the coolest in summer, but being too comfortable in summer means being uncomfortable in winter. Among the three cities, Yuxi has the lowest winter temperature, which is 3-5 lower than Pu 'er and Simao, and the low temperature is generally around 3-6, so it is relatively cold in winter. Yuxi is the driest of the three cities. Yuxi is at an altitude of1630m, which is also a medium altitude, 300 meters lower than Kunming, which is very beneficial to the physical and mental health of the elderly.
Pu 'er has jurisdiction over one district and eight counties, and the climate characteristics of Yunnan are like this. Not to mention eight counties, even a county may have several climatic distributions, so what people usually call Pu 'er is Simao District.
Because Simao is close to Xishuangbanna, among the three cities, it gives people the impression that Simao is warm in winter and cool in summer. Historical meteorological data show that there is still a gap between the actual temperature in Simao and what everyone imagined. The summer temperature of Pu 'er is basically the same as that of Mengzi, even lower than Mengzi 1, which is not as hot as many people think. In winter, the temperature in Simao and Mengzi is almost the same, and there is basically no difference. The difference is not 1. The elevation of Simao is1302m, which is similar to that of Mengzi. But the air humidity in Simao is the highest among the three cities. The annual precipitation of Pu 'er reaches about 1500 to 2700mm, and the humidity in Bi Meng is self-humid.
If forest coverage and negative oxygen ion content are considered, Pu 'er is the best, Mengzi is the second and Yuxi is the third.
Second, look at urban facilities and humanistic living environment.
As a city suitable for the elderly, in addition to the blue sky and white clouds, good air, warm sunshine, lush trees and some flowers, the functions of the city should be improved, various commercial services and supporting facilities should be improved, and whether the humanistic environment of the city is suitable for living, the most important medical resources should be better hospitals and doctors nearby, as well as some remote small counties. The natural environment and air are no matter how good, but the medical conditions are mostly limited.
Mengzi is the state capital of Honghe Prefecture, with a long history, rich cultural background, relatively developed economy and numerous places of interest. As an upgraded state capital, Mengzi's urban construction is remarkable, with relatively new infrastructure, clean and spacious road planning and few traffic jams in urban areas. A red river avenue runs through the urban area, and the infrastructure construction in Mengzi has surpassed that in Kunming in some places.
It is particularly worth mentioning that the construction of public toilets here is the best among all cities in Yunnan. There are Honghe First People's Hospital and Honghe Maternal and Child Health Hospital. There are also many parks here, such as Changqiaohai Wetland Park, Nisu Town, Mengzi Bridge Rice Noodles Town, Southern Yunnan Oasis, Pomegranate Park and so on.
Yuxi also has a relatively perfect business environment and convenient urban transportation. It is located in the middle of Yunnan, less than 100 km from the provincial capital Kunming. It is a relatively quiet city, without the common bar streets in some cities such as Lijiang and Dali, and it is not an entertainment place. Young people will feel lonely here, and it is more suitable for providing for the aged.
Yuxi's medical resources are relatively perfect, and there are three 3A hospitals, namely Yuxi People's Hospital, Yuxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Yuxi Second People's Hospital. Good medical conditions and normal health care can be solved in Yuxi. The key is to be close to Kunming and enjoy its medical resources. Not a tourist city, so the price here is not high, for example, by bus, starting from 2 yuan, Yuxi 1 yuan.
Simao is famous for its Pu 'er tea. It is an important node of the ancient tea-horse road. It also has a long cultural and historical background and is located on the Kunming Grand Passage. However, compared with Jinghong, a popular tourist city, there is a feeling of "quiet in the noise". The medical conditions in Pu 'er are also good, including Pu 'er People's Hospital and Pu 'er Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, which can fully meet the medical needs of the elderly.
This is a city with a forest coverage rate as high as 70%, surrounded by green trees everywhere, and the ecological environment is the best among the three cities.
Affected by the terrain, Pu 'er has a small urban area and convenient life, but it is not as good as Yuxi and Mengzi in urban construction, road planning and transportation. The traffic roads here are a little narrow and crowded, and there will be traffic jams during rush hours in downtown areas. Living in Pu 'er, the first choice of transportation is electric vehicles, so the popularity of motorcycles and electric vehicles here is particularly high. This city is most suitable for people who like slow-paced life, or people who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and seek quiet life enjoyment, so it is more suitable for health and old-age care.
The biggest problem affecting the livability of Pu 'er city is that the city is a little short of water. The per capita water possession of Pu 'er is 500 cubic meters, which is the national average 1/4.
Third, see if the traffic is convenient and fast.
Speaking of transportation, Yuxi is the most convenient place in these three cities, less than 100 km from Kunming, with high-speed high-speed rail and convenient access.
The second is Mencius. There are at least five intercity trains from Kunming to Mengzi every day, which takes only two and a half hours. There are many expressways such as Kunming-Yumeng, Kunming-Kaimeng, Meng He, Mengping and Mengwenyan, with convenient transportation in Mengzi. Moreover, the traffic in Mengzi has radiated to the surrounding areas rich in tourism resources such as Kaiyuan, Gejiu, Jianshui, Pingbian, Honghe and Maitreya.
At present, the farthest of these three cities belongs to Pu 'er, which is more than 400 kilometers away from Kunming. There is no train, so you can only take a long-distance bus or fly. The Yumo Railway under construction is expected to open next year. After the opening, the traffic in Pu 'er will be improved qualitatively.
Fourth, look at housing prices.
House price is also a key factor affecting old-age care.
Judging from the housing prices in these three cities, Yuxi has the highest housing price of 8,500 yuan, followed by Simao's 8,200 yuan, and Mengzi has the lowest, with an average price of about 6,800 yuan.
Mengzi, Yuxi and Simao are the most suitable cities for providing for the aged among many cities in Yunnan, mainly because the climate is the most balanced and comfortable among many cities in Yunnan, and the urban facilities, living environment, traffic conditions and house prices are moderate. Based on the above analysis, I think Pu 'er should be chosen if climate, altitude and environment are more important, Yuxi should be chosen if urban facilities and life in urban circle are emphasized, and if comprehensive cost performance is considered, there is only one city, that is Mengzi.
