Method for plan ginger in flowerpot
1, suitable for potted soil
Suitable potted soil should be selected for planting potted ginger. Generally, it is planted in a wide and deep soil basin with a drain hole at the bottom to avoid water accumulation. Choose acidic soil with certain acidity. It is best to mix humus and river sand in equal proportion, and a small amount of organic fertilizer can also be added.
2. Ginger seed treatment
In the planting method of ginger in flowerpot, ginger seeds planted in flowerpot need to have small buds, so as to grow faster. Healthy and full ginger seeds are best soaked in clear water and taken out one day later, which can achieve the effect of soaking seeds and accelerating germination. Then, put the ginger seeds with about 2 small buds in a ventilated place to dry.
Step 3 plant it in a flowerpot
Dig a small hole in the soil of the flowerpot, then put the processed ginger seeds into the small hole, pay attention to the fact that the bud point of ginger needs to face upwards, then cover it with surrounding soil and compact it, sprinkle thin soil with a thickness of about 2~3 cm on it, and then pour it thoroughly.
4. Post maintenance
To grow ginger well, the flowerpot should be placed in a semi-shady place and exposed to the sun for about 6~8 hours, and the temperature of its growing environment should be kept between 20~30. Water every two days to keep the soil slightly wet. After 10 days, ginger will germinate. Then, maintain it normally and let it grow.
