Working experience of cultivating children's self-care ability

As kindergarten teachers, we have the responsibility to pay attention to the cultivation of children's self-care ability and let children do what they can in the basic and enlightenment stages. The improvement of children's self-care ability is not only related to children's own participation, learning and exercise, but also requires teachers to effectively manage children's lives.

First, the concept of children's independent management

"Autonomy", as the name implies, means making decisions by yourself and not being dominated by others. "Children's self-management" refers to the psychological state that children dominate the external environment through their own consciousness and behavior in the process of management.

Second, the significance of children's independent management

(A) At present, there are two current situations of children's self-management ability in China.

First, most children in kindergartens in China are only children, and only children generally have personality shortcomings, such as strong patience, poor persistence, weak sense of autonomy, and easy to be self-centered.

Second, with the development of China's economy and the improvement of education quality, most of the children's parents are office workers, who are busy with their work on weekdays and have no time to take care of their children. Most children rely on grandparents, who often spoil and indulge their children and do everything for them, resulting in their lack of self-care ability and self-management awareness.

(2) Self-management is a management mode that emphasizes students' active participation. It promotes the formation of good behavior habits through self-management and improves the consciousness and ability of self-service. Gradually transform teachers' requirements into students' self-needs. From how do you do it to how do I do it, from heteronomy to self-discipline, from self-discipline to autonomy, from autonomy to forming good self-awareness and habits. Cultivating children's self-management consciousness can help children form strong personality, social communication ability, independent thinking ability and problem-solving ability, which is not only conducive to the shaping of children's personality, but also conducive to the healthy growth of children's body and mind.

Third, the factors affecting children's independent management

family factors

Some parents pay more attention to their children's behavior results, such as whether their children have learned anything in kindergarten, whether they have taken a nap, whether they have eaten or drunk water, and pay little attention to their self-management behavior process, such as whether their children can manage their own attention during the process of learning skills, whether they can wear clothes during a nap, whether they can keep clean and tidy when eating, and whether they can observe order when queuing. Therefore, improving children's self-management ability needs the support of parents, the change of parents' educational concept and effective family cooperation.

(B) Teacher factors

1, teachers pay more attention to imparting knowledge and tend to ignore the improvement of children's autonomy. Some kindergarten teachers think that as long as they impart knowledge to their children, they have completed their teaching tasks, but they don't know that the responsibility of kindergarten teachers is to cultivate children's various abilities.

2. Teachers lack knowledge and accumulation of management strategies, which is not conducive to the implementation of strategies. Preschool teachers are busy with daily education and teaching activities in kindergartens, and lack of in-depth research on theoretical knowledge.

Fourth, the small strategy of children's independent management.

Environmental strategy

In the creation of the theme wall environment, children can be consulted, and the children can discuss the theme content and sections of this issue by themselves, and arrange the theme wall with the teacher according to the results of their own discussion. The setting of the free wall in kindergarten also gives full play to the initiative of children's independent painting. In free graffiti, children can express their ideas through painting at any time.

(B) nursery rhymes strategy

Teachers can use some nursery rhymes to cultivate children's self-service ability and inner consciousness, such as washing hands nursery rhymes: turn on the tap, wash it with small hands, wipe it with soap, rub it with small hands, rub it with the palm of your hand, rub it with the back of your hand, rinse it with water, and dry it one, two and three times; Eating children's songs: small spoon, hold it well, small rice bowl, hold it steady, small eyes, look at the bowl, it's really good to eat clean; Dressing children's songs: big holes in, small holes out, two small hands driving the train, one after another; Wear pants: children, wear pants, look carefully before and after, and then let two feet drill into the hole, one foot drill into the left hole and the other foot drill into the right hole to see which one comes out first.

(3) Tagging and picture strategy

In the bathroom, you can post a step chart of hand washing, so that children can learn to wash their hands by themselves.

Put a sign on the floor, for example, in the activity room, so that children can find their place under the sign, improve their self-management awareness, and learn to adjust the distance of the team, without pushing or squeezing.

Let things have a "home". Mark the game and toy areas to remind children how to put the corresponding items correctly. In this way, children can quickly find the home of things.

Post photos on the stairs. For example, put up pictures with tips such as "Don't run around the corner in case of collision" and "It's really dangerous to jump around, and it's only safe to step by step".

Little shoes, so neat. In the nap room, you can post neatly arranged pictures of shoes and step diagrams of putting on clothes and trousers, so that children can gradually form their self-service ability under the prompt of step diagrams.

Objects can be constructed like this. In the construction area, you can provide children with examples of various construction drawings, so that children can build them in mutual consultation and discussion, and form the management ability of self-study and self-thinking.
