This chapter not only tells us how to face life, but also is often used by Taoism for health preservation and enlightenment. First of all, let's look at it sentence by sentence:
1, Zaizai holds one, can you score?
Load: auxiliary words. Some translators think it is a bearing.
Yingwei: a term in traditional Chinese medicine, which refers to the qi or vitality of a person's Yingwei. Camp is often used to refer to the soul.
Embrace one: unity, that is, the soul and spirit are integrated. Soul and spirit become one, that is, they become one with Tao (this "Tao" means integration and unity).
Spirit and form are one, can they not be separated?
Tell us to keep the unity of form and spirit and not to think about it. In fact, our body and mind are often separated, and there are a lot of news about this on the Internet. For example, when driving, you don't put yourself and others' safety first. For example, a while ago, a Maserati drunk driving case in Henan, a case in which a Mercedes-Benz in Changzhou hit several people in a row, and some pedestrians were watching their mobile phones while walking, which led to some tragedies, and I was knocked down by a takeaway car myself. So in class, Mr. Feng specially reminded us: Don't look down at your mobile phone when walking. I remember, and I hope everyone can remember.
2. Committed to softness, can it be like a baby?
Specific gas: gas accumulation. Feng Youlan said: "To devote yourself to anger is to be frustrated". This qi includes shape qi and essence qi. Qi is the combination of form qi and essence qi. "Be soft" means to make a person as weak as a baby at birth.
Can you be as absorbed as a baby, soft and firm?
As the saying goes, "There are three treasures in the sky, the sun, the moon and the stars, the wind and the water." When I was a baby, I was in a mixed state. My vitality was the most abundant, but I was constantly consumed in the process of growing up. This sentence tells us that people's own vitality and essence constitute the foundation of our life, so we should cherish it and work and rest according to the laws of nature.
3. Can the Xuanjian be removed without defects (cθ)?
Xuan Lan: Ming Che is like a mirror in my heart. "Xuan" describes the profundity and subtlety of the human heart.
"Getting rid of mystery" means getting rid of distractions, delusions and returning to inner understanding.
Can you wash away your distractions and have a flawless look?
The poem written by Zen master is very similar to this sentence: the body is a bodhi tree, and the heart is like a mirror. Always wipe it clean to avoid dust. In fact, this poem is also well written, and the poem of Huineng, the sixth ancestor, is famous, but the situation that everything is empty is not something that everyone can do. For ordinary people, this poem by Shen Xiu is more instructive. All this is to constantly clear away the dust and distractions in my heart and keep my nature clear and ethereal.
4. Can you do nothing by loving the people and governing the country?
Love the people and govern the country, can you naturally do nothing?
"Inaction" is a very important concept of Laozi, but it does not mean inaction. Laozi's "inaction" means not to go against the trend, but to follow the trend. National governance should also follow the trend and not move against the trend. Superior people should love people outside their own hearts without any deliberate action, just like loving mothers love their children, asking for nothing in return and without any self-affectation. The highest state of loving the people and governing the country is to govern by doing nothing.
5, Tianmen opening and closing (hé), can it be a woman?
Tianmen: a metaphor of the senses.
Opening and closing: that is, movement.
It can be a woman: "Being a woman" means keeping quiet.
Can the senses keep quiet when they are in contact with the outside world?
Whether everything can maintain a feminine and quiet posture in the process of survival and heart door opening and closing.
6, understand four, can you learn nothing?
Know everything, say everything?
It means that you are knowledgeable and know everything, but can you still be self-righteous and smart? Knowledgeable people often like to blame and interfere with others. Laozi believes that even if you know everything, you should not interfere and guide others, but should take reactive actions. What is reactive behavior? Is to play it by ear and not take the initiative. In martial arts novels, martial arts experts often don't take the initiative, but see how they do it.
