Sixteen paragraphs of brocade are a combination of sixteen movements. Its method can be found in Wang Tingxiang's "A Compendium of Learning from the Buddhist Scriptures in Ming Dynasty", formerly known as "Citing Sixteen Potential". It is based on "Ba Duan Jin", combined with methods such as "Lao Zi guides forty-two potentials" and "Red pine nut guides eighteen potentials". After the collection of Leng Qian's Essentials of Aging, it was renamed Sixteen Brocade.

Basic contents and methods

(1) First, close your eyes, hold it firmly, sit with your heart hidden, and knock your teeth 36 times, that is, hold the object with both hands and turn it left and right 24 times to remove two threats and accumulate common cold.

(2) Put your hands together, hold them in vain, and press the top 24 to remove the evil between the chest and diaphragm.

(3) Cover your ears with your hands, but press the third finger with your second finger and hit the back of your head 24 times to drive away the evil spirits in the wind pool.

(4) Put your hands together and press your left knee and your right knee twenty-four times to remove liver wind.

(5) Use both hands, one in front of the other, such as holding a five-stone bow to eliminate the accumulation of evil in the armpit.

(6) Sit down again, twist your hands, turn your back left and right, and turn your shoulders 24 times to remove spleen accumulation.

(7) Hold hands tightly again, row ribs and shake shoulders for 24 times to remove common cold between the waist and ribs.

(8) Then beat your arms and waist with your hands to drive away evil in your limbs.

(9) Sit down again, lean sideways, and put your hands together for 24 consecutive days, so as to eliminate the accumulation of evil between the lungs.
