Questions about the Kangxi Dynasty
In Kangxi Dynasty, when describing the emperor shunzhi's indifference to state affairs and his intention to escape into an empty net, sourdrang queen urgently called Sony for advice. Sony said that Zen master Yulin Xiu is a Buddhist monk and a senior mage of monk Hangsen. He can call Yulin Xiu to persuade Hangsen to give up Shunzhi's tonsure. Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang ordered Sony to personally visit Yulin Xiu, but Chen Yili did harm. After Yulin Xiu arrived in Beijing, she solemnly promised in front of sourdrang queen that she would definitely persuade Hangsen to give up her original intention. If she can't succeed, she would rather become a pure land.

When Xing Sen, a demon monk, bewitched the emperor shunzhi into an empty door, his grandmaster Yu said the following words: "Monks teach all sentient beings, teach them good results in the world, take refuge from disasters and pray for peace. They were never asked to become monks. If everyone in the world becomes a monk, who will support the monk? Buddhism forbids marriage. If everyone in the world becomes a monk, who will give birth to a monk? " However, the demon monk Xing Sen refused to listen to his master. However, monk Xingsen is determined to protect the law. Not only did he not listen to the well-meaning advice of Zen master Yulin Xiu, but he was willing to die. As a result, Hangsen was burned to ashes, and Shunzhi became a monk, whose legal name was Xing Chi, and fled to Shunzhi. Yulin Xiu was heartbroken, but died silently.

Buddhism pays attention to people who are destined to cross the border. Hang Sen thinks that the emperor shunzhi has a Buddhist affinity, so he wants to cross him. In this TV series, Xing Sen plays a utilitarian thought. At first glance, he knows that he is not a monk, what's more, he will have the idea of universal salvation, charity and forgiveness.

But now there is a saying that it was Yulin Xiu himself who crossed the river during the Shunzhi period.

Where's Hiroji?

The emperor shunzhi cut his hair and became a monk. Although it has never been mentioned in the official history, it is only said that he has smallpox and is a dragon. But from the early Qing Dynasty to later unofficial history, it was mentioned that he became a monk in Hongzhi. Where's Hiroji? How many Hu Enji are there in China? But this is a question worth discussing. For a long time, people's legendary Hongzhi was in Wutai Mountain, Shanxi Province, but whether Hongzhi of Wutai Mountain was a monk at the time of Shunzhi was not recorded in historical materials, but was just a guess by scholars. At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, there was a Hu in Shangbaijinche Mountain in Wu Kang County (now Deqing), Zhejiang Province, which was far south of the Yangtze River, but it was little known at that time because of its seclusion. In the eyes of ordinary literati, Wutai Mountain in Shanxi is close to Beijing, and it is natural that the emperor shunzhi will become a monk in Wutai Mountain and Hongzhi. But now Shunzhi has escaped into an empty net, and his heart is empty. He won't go to Beijing to visit his mother and son (Emperor sourdrang dowager and Emperor Kangxi) because Wutai Mountain is close to Beijing, and he won't fetter the world of mortals because Hongzhi of Jincheshan is too far away from Beijing. Furthermore, the author in unofficial history described Shunzhi as Wutai Mountain, because Wutai Mountain had a great influence on Buddhism. But since Shunzhi has the determination to give up the throne, do you still want to pursue fame? He can come to the unknown Jinche Mountain and devote himself to practice. Therefore, Hongzhi in Jincheshan, which is far west of Wu Kang County in the south of the Yangtze River, is likely to be the emperor shunzhi's monastic practice place.

Yulin xiuqiren

The emperor shunzhi is a monk. Of course, he won't travel long distances alone to Wutai Mountain in Shanxi or Che Jin in Zhejiang. He must be extradited by a monk. In the TV series, Monk Star Sen has been reduced to ashes in the raging fire, and Zen master Yulin Xiu has also died. But in history, the real Yulin show did not die at this time.

According to "Biography of Wu Kang County Records and Immortals" written in the 11th year of Kangxi (1672), Zen master Yulin is the legal heir of Zen master Yin Tianxiu in Jinkeshan, Wukang. In the eighth year of Chongzhen (1635), Tian was quiet in Hongji, and after Yulin was cooked, he left the temple and became a great ancestor in Jingshanfeng (now Yuhang). The gentlemen in the city jointly invited him to come back to preside over monk affairs for many times, and then returned to Hongzhi to "serve the mother grass temple and stick to the tower." In the winter of the fifth year of Shunzhi (15, 1658), the emperor shunzhi sent Zhang Jiamo, an official in charge of the official department, to the foot of Che Jin Mountain, called Yulin to repair the Zen master and give lectures with Shunzhi, and was named Dajue Zen master. According to historical records, Zen master Yulin Xiu "longed to be a saint" during his stay in Beijing, which shows that the friendship between Shunzhi and Yulin Xiu is extraordinary. Soon, Yulin Xiu returned to the mountains, and the court still sent officials from imperial academy to escort him to Hongzhi.

In the spring of Gengzi Year (17, 1660), the emperor shunzhi, mindful of Gao Dezhong, a Zen master in Yulin, south of the Yangtze River, issued an imperial edict that "Lei Xiansheng, an official of Xuanhui Academy, will be sent to award the purple clothes and gold seal again". Mr. Lei was ordered to come to Hunji, Jincheshan, read the imperial edict, and named Yulin as "Dajue Puji Zen Master". In August of the same year, the emperor shunzhi once again missed Master Yu Linxiu, and for the third time wrote: "Send Baoyuan official Liu to Beijing to enforce the law again." In the statement that Yulin Zen Master was sent to Beijing for three times to give lectures with the emperor shunzhi, they must have forged an indissoluble bond. Although there is no more detailed record of this "performance method to preach precepts" and who was "warned" by monks in the palace, the relationship between Shunzhi and Yulin Xiu can be said to be absolutely good. Shi Zhiming showed that Yulin Xiu returned to the mountain this time, and the emperor once again named him "Dajue Puji Nengren National Teacher".

Yulin Xiu is the abbot of Hongzhi in Jincheshan, Xishang Baishan, Deqing County, Zhejiang Province. But he was sealed by the emperor shunzhi three times, and his internal relationship with China was unforgettable.

Visit Hoonji.

Drive from Wu Kang to Shangbai Market, turn west, and a flat residual oil path winds up along Xiangxi. In Yujiazhuang, where the village committee of Shanmin Village is located, the road branches into three branches. Along the westbound stream, you can reach Dawuge and Lujiawu, cross the southbound Xiangxi, and soon reach Hongzhi.

Hoonji is located at the northern foot of Che Jin Mountain, with high mountains and dense forests, beautiful scenery, wild flowers blocking the road and gurgling streams. Walking into the courtyard gate, there is a half-moon-shaped release pool facing you, bypassing the pool and looking in. There is a five-step platform in the main hall, which extends in a ladder shape and has a magnificent momentum. On both sides of the main hall, there are many flat houses. Roughly estimated, the area within the whole courtyard wall is not less than 60 mu. According to Luo Jun, a colleague, hundreds of acres of forest around the temple were originally produced by the temple, so the scale of Hongji in those days was even larger than that of Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou now (the main building of Lingyin Temple has only three halls). In Hoonji's yard, a camphor tree with a DBH of about 5 meters stands quietly on the roadside, as if telling pedestrians about the rise and fall of the temple in the past 360 years.

Hoonji was changed to Zhejiang Leprosy Hospital 50 years ago. Although things have changed, there are still three historic sites in the temple. A monument with a length of 220 cm and a width of 94 cm was vandalized, and only the word "Kang" could be distinguished, which was suspected to be an imperial decree issued by the emperor during the reign of Kangxi. The other piece is175cm long and 90cm wide. The handwriting on the right can't be erased because it has been used as a washboard for a long time, but the handwriting on the left is still clear. It says "The fifth son of Shi Shunzhi (five years, 1648) is also in April, and the teacher has just entered ...", "Give Jinshi and Wudu Temple", "Zhai Yi" and "Zhai Yi". The third story, the story of the reconstruction of the Dharma Hall, was carved by Master Long Hui, the abbot of Hongzhi, in the tenth year of the Republic of China (192 1). The tablet body is intact and the words are clear. It contains the words "Yulin Buddhism has been revived since the early Qing Dynasty, and now it has been abandoned", which further proves that abbot Hongzhi in the early Qing Dynasty was indeed a Zen master in Yulin.

People explained the mystery of the ages.

On the stone tablet preserved in Hongzhi, the words "Shunzhi Wuzi also entered in April, and the teacher just entered" are clearly remembered, indicating that Zen master Yulin Xiu had been to the palace in Shunzhi for five years and had contact with the emperor shunzhi. Written in the 11th year of Kangxi, it is clearly recorded in the Biography of Wu Kang County Records and Immortals that Zen master Yulin was conferred the title of Dajue Zen Master, Dajue Puji Zen Master and Dajue Puji Nengren Zen Master three times in the winter of the 15th year of Shunzhi, the spring of the 17th year and August of the 17th year. It can be seen that the abbot of Hongzhi, Che Jin, Yulin Xiu Zen Master was the foreign monk who had the most frequent contact and the closest relationship when the emperor shunzhi was in office. "During the reign of Emperor Kangxi, the imperial court closed the temple to Zen Yulin", which can prove that the first leaf of Emperor Kangxi was still in the temple. If, as unofficial history said, Shunzhi really became a monk under the guise of illness after his death, then the legendary Hongzhi may not be in Wutai Mountain, but in Che Jin, Wu Kang, Zhejiang Province. The monk who introduced the secret of Shunzhi into the dense forest was none other than Yulin Xiu, the abbot of Hongzhi in Jincheshan.
