Liaoning Ho Medical College is an undergraduate medical college, which is a member of the National Alliance for Building High-level Medical Higher Education in Undergraduate Colleges of the Ministry of Education and the only undergraduate medical college designated by the Health and Wellness Committee of Liaoning Province. The predecessor of the school can be traced back to Shenyang School of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, which was founded in 1903. Liaoning Ho Medical College was formally established on 1995 after several name changes and mergers.

The school has six undergraduate majors, including Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, Chinese medicine, rehabilitation therapy, nursing and stomatology, among which Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage and Chinese medicine are national specialties. By 2020, all undergraduate majors in Liaoning He Medical College will be general and specialized, and have not yet entered the ranks of national "double first-class" or "2 1 1 engineering" construction.
