The acupuncture method we are talking about here is called Huangdi Neijing. From the above discussion, we should feel that, from the legal point of view, it is closely related to Huangdi Neijing. But what needs to be further deepened here is that Huangdi is not only the determiner of Neijing, but also the determiner of our entire Chinese nation and even all Chinese cultures. In other words, thousands of years of humanities in China are all related to the Yellow Emperor, and they are all filled with the breath of the Yellow Emperor. We are called descendants of the Yellow Emperor, and the Yellow Emperor is regarded as the ancestor of Chinese civilization. So it is necessary to understand the Yellow Emperor and his spirit.

In the discussion in the last section, I talked to you about Yan Di, and the title of Yan Di came from Holder. Is Emperor Yan a real person?

A real ancient tribal leader, a half-brother of a bear? Or is it a symbol of the personification of fire virtue? This topic is not discussed today, and it is not clear if it is discussed. Similarly, for the yellow emperor, we will not involve the above problems. The title of Huangdi originated from Tude. Therefore, if you want to understand the Yellow Emperor, the spirit of the Yellow Emperor and the whole China culture related to it, I'm afraid you can't do without Tude.

What is attitude? Understanding soil morality can only begin with soil. Soil is one of the five elements and is the most familiar thing for farmers. The five elements of wood, fire, earth, gold and water are unique elements of China culture. In Su Wen, regarding the ancient naivety, it is said: "Ancient people, who knows it, used Yin and Yang and used magical numbers." The number of skills here is inseparable from the five elements. It can also be said that the five elements are actually the display of Yin and Yang, and Yin and Yang can't land without the five elements. We are familiar with the concepts of "Shengke", "Shenghe", "Wood Fires", "Earth Fires", "Native Gold", "Golden Water" and "aquatic wood". Like wood, earth, earth, water, fire, fire, gold and Jin Kemu, grams are separated from the belt. Therefore, from the above relationship, we can see that the whole Chinese nation and the Chinese descent of Chinese culture belong to the joint relationship between fire and soil, which is the result of the combination of fire and soil!

The five elements are the display of yin and yang, specifically, the display of yang is aimed at wood fire; Yin shows golden water. People who have no stomach gas say that they are rebellious, and rebellious people will die. " Then "if you have stomach gas, you will be born, and if you don't have stomach gas, you will die"! To raise stomach qi to such a high level, besides the fact that the stomach is the receptor of Shui Gu, and people can't live without food, the more important factor is its earthiness. Among them, the earthiness makes it have the instinct of harmony between yin and yang, which is the foundation of life at a deeper and more fundamental level than diet. Otherwise, friends who know something about western medicine will talk. Don't too many patients who have undergone gastrectomy live well? Why don't you die if you can't see your stomach? ! Without this tangible organ, the stomach will not die, because the stomach qi is still there, the yang qi is still there, and the yin and yang are still there. If this gas is gone, it will definitely not live.

Therefore, when we study the spirit of Huangdi and Tude, we will know its profound meaning in Chinese medicine. Tude is the foundation of building life. If you have soil virtue, you will live, but if you have no soil virtue, you will die. From a clinical point of view, it doesn't matter if you are sick. As long as Tude is still there, there is hope for treatment. Because of virtue, there is the possibility of self-harmony between yin and yang, "self-harmony and self-healing between yin and yang"! Therefore, clinical treatment is actually to maintain local morality, which is also the true meaning of equality. On acupoints, although Tude is everywhere, it is concentrated in Taiyin Yangming. Why did acupuncture and moxibustion in past dynasties attach great importance to Zuyangming and Lishan points? There is even a formula: "If you want to be safe, Li San often doesn't do it." In fact, it is to pay attention to the cultivation of soil morality. It can be said that how to maintain an attitude? How to keep an attitude? How to rebuild a decaying city? It's the trick of Huangdi's Neijing needle, the trick of tactic!

Virtue is extensive, the belief of the five permanent members is virtue, and the filial piety in the eight virtues is virtue. Therefore, we can not only use five techniques to maintain soil morality, but also use acupuncture to establish soil morality well, such as Zusanli above, such as the large and small fried Jianzhong decoction in Treatise on Febrile Diseases. However, what I want to tell you more is that no resentment can maintain soil morality, and kindness can maintain soil morality, and this maintenance is deeper and more thorough! Therefore, health is not only a doctor's problem, but also a more important link, which we must understand.

Cause and effect are true.

In fact, maintaining an attitude in China is the role of development. If the role of Tude is brought into full play, it is possible to keep healthy qi in it, and evil cannot be done. If healthy qi is hidden in it, people will not get sick. Even if you are sick, you will heal yourself. Therefore, how to maintain the virtue of the earth and make it useful is really the highlight of Huangdi's Neijing. Does every needle we put down work? Whether it is really like plucking and snow pollution depends on whether this picture can be revealed. At the beginning of the last chapter, I talked about the simplicity and depth of this stitch. Simplicity is technology, and the depth must be excavated by the middle soil.

Regarding Tude, I want to discuss it from another level, such as the causal level. From this perspective, people who have been farmers will feel deeply. It's spring now. At this time, a lot of crops have to be planted, and they can't be harvested until summer and autumn. If we carefully consider this process, a crop is generally determined by three conditions if it wants to have a bumper harvest and get rich fruits. First, seeds; The second is the cultivation and maintenance after sowing and the appropriate time and place; Third, it is fruit. Originally, the fruit can no longer be used as a condition, but if we want to consider that the seeds will still come out of this fruit in the next year, then the connection exists.

If we regard seeds as the cause of things, many conditions needed in the process of seed growth as the cause of things, and the harvest obtained after the above links as the fruit of things, then cause, cause and fruit are the truly popular and most grounded virtues. In fact, not only crops, but also everything, including personnel, is the presentation of this virtue and the course of karma under the care of virtue. It's just that modern people, due to the lack of understanding and education of Tude, associate it with superstition as soon as they talk about cause and effect. Is this superstition? If this also becomes superstition, then our whole Chinese nation is a nation that grew up eating superstition! Where is the wisdom that Emperor Yan gave us? Where is the light that Emperor Yan gave us?

Causality, abbreviated as cause and effect, is a true and empty law. Every aspect of Chinese medicine has never left it. Let me give you a familiar example, which is SARS in 2003. From south to north, SARS reached Beijing, and the "white terror" almost enveloped the whole capital. Everyone wears big masks, and the crowded streets are almost empty. In the south, especially in Guangzhou, the mortality rate of this disease has been greatly reduced due to the first intervention of Deng Tietao doyen and many die-hard Chinese medicine practitioners. The mortality rate of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine is zero. Traditional Chinese medicine has such a good effect on SARS, but many cities have been slow to intervene. Because colleagues in western medicine believe that what is the pathogen of SARS? At the beginning of SARS, the whole country went all out and still couldn't figure it out. If we don't understand the pathogen, we can't introduce measures to kill the pathogen, and we can't establish immunotherapy. What do you Chinese medicine practitioners know? Do you know what SARS is? From the perspective of modern medicine, such doubts are completely reasonable. But from the causal level, it is completely reasonable that Chinese medicine can cure SARS.

From the above causal results, we know that from the perspective of health, if health is regarded as a result, then health needs both healthy causes and healthy causes. Where does the real health of life come from? This is a very complicated problem, which is related to our understanding of life. In a shallow sense, this reason has a great relationship with parents. Once the reason is planted, it is the reason that plays a decisive role. In the twenty-cross health mantra at the beginning of ancient naivety, "the method is based on yin and yang, and the number is counted" has a causal element. The following "eating properly, living regularly, and not rushing" are all about the level of fate. Therefore, for us who have become human beings, to talk about health, we can only talk about fate. There is almost no medicine involved here, which is a very clear concept of health in Neijing. This is in sharp contrast with many people who want to be healthy in the hospital today.

From the point of view of disease, if the disease we suffer is regarded as an achievement, then this result is also determined by the corresponding cause, and a single cause is not enough to form a disease. Therefore, in order to influence the disease and change the course of disease, we can change both the cause and the cause, of course, it is best to change the cause. From the perspective of modern medicine, taking SARS as an example, SARS virus can be regarded as the cause of disease. Whether the virus enters the host body and causes infection depends on certain pathogenic conditions. Why should modern medicine add the word "condition" before pathogenic bacteria (virus)? If this disease can be triggered unconditionally, then the land of China in 2003 should be littered with corpses. But this is not the case. After all, there are still very few people who get SARS. All these conditions are necessary for the disease. Therefore, for SARS, we can study SARS, further find out the antiviral drugs sensitive to it, or develop related vaccines to prevent it. At the same time, we can also play a role in its pathogenic edge. When the edge of disease is gone, it is difficult for SARS to make a sound! This is the reason why Chinese medicine can treat SARS without knowing it at all.

So how did Chinese medicine recognize this fate and how did it change? Just treat it according to syndrome differentiation! When the patient comes to us, the syndrome (symptom) he presents can tell us the cause (condition) of the disease as a whole, and then we can treat it according to this syndrome, and this cause can be changed, the course of the disease will be changed, and the recovery we expect will come unexpectedly.

Treatment based on syndrome differentiation is sacred. In the eyes of Chinese medicine, he cares more about syndromes. Syndrome is a direct manifestation of life coping abnormality, while disease is logically treated by concept. Life is not so direct. Living comfortably in a natural and normal state without any symptoms (syndrome). Once life deviates from nature and normal, that uncomfortable state will appear immediately. This is called syndrome! Therefore, symptoms (syndromes) are actually the reaction that life deviates from the "positive", and syndrome differentiation is actually to distinguish the "abnormal"! Why is the word-making of syndrome like this? Will be put into the bridge, the original meaning of the bridge is illness, but entering the bridge means that there is a problem, and the problem is of course incorrect. Its purpose lies in peace, which is out of the middle. Therefore, through dialectical analysis, it is clear that life deviates from a peaceful state. Treatment is to let this deviation return to Zhong Zheng's peace!

Regarding karma, there is a saying in the classical Chinese of Kun Gua in Zhouyi: If there is a good family, there must be Qing Yu; If you accumulate a bad house, there will be more disasters. It is not an overnight event that a minister kills a monarch and a son kills his father, and its origin is gradually distinguished from the early identification. "I killed my king and my son killed his father, which is great news for my country! If you take the body as a metaphor, it's like suddenly finding out the terminal stage of cancer. I killed the king, my son killed my father, or the discovery of advanced cancer was just an instant. However, its origin is gradually coming! In other words, what happens in a flash takes a long time to come. Need to brew, need to prepare. Therefore, a good home exists in; If you accumulate a bad home, you will have more trouble. The important thing is accumulation. When accumulation is enough, quantitative change will become qualitative change. When will it be enough? When will the qualitative change begin? This is hard to say. It's just that the causal relationship is clear. To this end, the ancient sages gave a rule, not to be good and small, not to be evil and small! If this one is done, it can be foolproof. The same is true of health problems. Whatever is good for your health, even small things, should be persevered, and whatever is bad for your health, even small things, should be spurned as much as possible.

Zhouyi chose to talk about causality in Kun Gua, which is of course related to Tude. It's just that the deep meaning here needs us to explore further. Earth is on the earth. It not only nurtures everything, but also has the magical function of Luce. Su Wen's Secret Classic of Linglan is a very interesting text, which arranges the five internal organs according to their official positions, such as the heart as the monarch and the liver as the general. However, it is particularly unfair when it comes to the spleen and stomach. These two are only sitting in a granary. It was not until I read the Theory of Acupuncture in Su Wen's Legacy that I found that the five internal organs had their own official positions, and the spleen became an admonisher, whose role was to know the affairs of the Zhou Dynasty. Remonstrance is to distinguish right from wrong, that is, to distinguish good from evil. In the past, the remonstrance officer was a very complicated official position for Jiangshan, just like Wei Zhi in the Tang Dynasty, who was a famous remonstrance officer in history. Today, the Commission for Discipline Inspection has some functions similar to giving advice to doctors. The key to persuasion lies in early identification. If the problem is still hidden, you can listen, correct and deal with it in time. Where will it lead to such a catastrophe as "the minister kills the king and the son kills the father"? Absolutely impossible! Similarly, when you are sick to the terminal stage of cancer, how can you be silent? This must be a problem with the proposal, a big problem!

It was not until the theory of acupuncture that the Neijing talked about admonishing ministers, which is a problem worthy of study. Above, we talked about syndrome, and thought that syndrome or syndrome was a reaction that life deviated from "positive". This should also be a function of Tude display. The purpose of the reaction is to correct the deviation. Deviation is also called correction because it is local and naturally positive. Obviously, this mechanism reflecting the deviation of life from "positive" is controlled by the spleen. The spleen and stomach belong to the middle earth, and the normal qi of ordinary people is in the stomach. This is to defend justice with the official of admonition, which is remarkable and worth studying! This is another unusual point of acupuncture. It can not only cure diseases, but also "concentrate on cultivating truth".
