"Emotion" is the direct reflection of mind on impression, "Qi" is the life of "far anger", and "Ge" is the noble demeanor of personality. Impression? Mind? Personality. Impressionism and realism in western art are equivalent to the first realm. Romanticism tends to express life music freely, while classicism tends to reveal life statues clearly, which is equivalent to the second realm. As for symbolism, expressionism and post-impressionism, their purport lies in the third realm. As both arts, it seems biased to divide the three realms by purport.
