Lin Daiyu and Qingwen written by Cao Xueqin are pure, kind, lofty and upright, and they are all compared to straight hibiscus flowers outside. Lotus is a symbol of holiness in Buddhism and is enshrined by monks. It can be seen that the author compares them to "immortals" in the crowd. However, things that are too extreme and beautiful are often delicate, and "immortals" can't last long in the world. Moreover, the social environment was very bad at that time, just like the "wood" representing Lin Daiyu could only grow in the warm spring when it was in full bloom. Daiyu's cough and insomnia just needed to become a monk (the monk once advised her to become a monk), so as to avoid the troubled world and have a rest. Otherwise, not only the body, but also the personality will show many weaknesses. While appreciating their extraordinary inner qualities, the author deeply regrets their fragile and dust-free appearance. She once mocked Daiyu for being "sour" and Qingwen for being "quick-tongued", both of which were "immoral".

Because the "Qi" grasped by Xue Baochai and xiren is a secular "evil", they can adapt to various environments and are loved and worshipped by the world like "gold". On the one hand, the author profoundly exposed and condemned their inner sophistication, insidiousness and indifference; On the other hand, I also appreciate their virtuous, open-minded temperament and beautiful figure. Although these beautiful superficial phenomena are just their means to cater to the world, the author still divides into two parts, praising Baochai as "gorgeous and fragrant" and "heartless and moving" and calling Xiren "virtuous and elegant".

So in the author's eyes, all four of them have shortcomings and advantages. Or it can be said that honest people are surreal people like "a fairy in the world", "a fairy in Yuen Long" and "a flower god"; An artificial, vulgar and unrealistic person. What kind of person is Daiyu? She knows nothing about the intrigue of secular society. She knows nothing about it. She is naive. In fact, A Dream of Red Mansions represents Cao Xueqin's point of view. The person whom Cao Xueqin admires most is the most primitive and innocent part of our human beings, without any pollution. In this sense, Xiangyun and Baochai belong to the same ideological system. It can be seen that in Shi Xiangyun's bones, it is still a deep-rooted feudal thought.

However, Catkin Poems at the Last Poetry Meeting, with its unfortunate experience of being dependent on others, the decline of four big families and the turmoil in the Grand View Garden, clearly shows her reluctance to the feudal class's "spring gone" and her infinite attachment and sorrow for the complete fall of Heaven.

However, the biggest change in Xiang Yun's personality was in 1976. Today I abandoned us and went to enjoy the moon by myself. " After the great changes in Jiafu, she was snubbed by Baochai and realized that Xiangyun was finally isolated from feudal forces. Together with Daiyu, she sang a desperate lamentation of the aristocratic class before the collapse of "crossing the crane shadow in the cold pond and burying the flower soul in Leng Yue".
