Fault 1. Tripping suddenly during normal heating.

Cause 1: The probes of the heating pipe and the temperature-sensitive switch conduct heat directly through metal. If the heat conduction is too fast or too high, it will cause misoperation; Treatment: Pull the probe of the temperature-sensitive switch out of the bottom of the blind tube for about 40mm to cut off the power supply, and adjust the multimeter to the maximum resistance of 20MΩ; Then connect the two probes to the shell of the heating tube and any power supply terminal respectively, and replace the heating tube if the cold insulation resistance is greater than 5Ω;

The second reason: the insulation performance of the heating pipe decreases (usually after a period of use), and the insulation resistance value is unstable. When the leakage current exceeds a certain value, the leakage protection plug will act immediately; Treatment method: check, eliminate or replace the heating pipe;

Reason 3: Leakage occurs between other live parts and the shell; Treatment method: check to eliminate or replace parts;

Reason four: the leakage protection plug is in poor contact with the inferior socket, which leads to misoperation due to overheating; Treatment method: replace the socket;

Reason 5: the leakage protection plug or temperature switch is invalid;

Solution: Replace the temperature switch or leakage protection plug.

Fault 2: No water leakage when not heated, but no water leakage after filled with water.

Cause: Leakage caused by burning through the shell of heating tube; Solution: Replace the heating pipe.

Fault 3. The heating indicator is on, but it cannot be heated.

Cause 1: poor contact or disconnection of the plug end of the heating pipe; Treatment: check and eliminate;

Reason 2: the heating pipe is burnt out; Solution: Replace the heating pipe.

Fault 4. The heating indicator light is not on, so it cannot be heated.

Cause 1: poor contact or disconnection of the plug end of the thermostat; Treatment: check and eliminate;

Reason 2: the thermostat is burnt out; Solution: Replace the thermostat.

Fault 5. The indicator light of the water heater never goes out.

Reason: There are few contact points between the temperature sensing surface of thermostat and the flange surface of electric heating pipe; Solution: Reinstall the thermostat to make the temperature sensing surface contact.

Fault six, no heat preservation function, heating until tripping.

Cause: The temperature controller is too high or has been fused and short-circuited; Solution: Replace the thermostat.

Fault 7, heating time is too long.

Reason 1: The water heater does not use the maximum power gear for heating (electric water heater with power conversion function); Treatment: Turn the power transfer switch to the maximum power range;

Reason 2: the electric heating tube is broken; Solution: Replace the electric heating tube.

? Fault 8. It is already in the state of heat preservation and cannot be heated again.

Cause: The thermostat can't be reset, and it has been in an open circuit state; Solution: Replace the thermostat.

? Fault 9. During the heating process of the water heater, water drops drip from the small hole of the safety valve.

Reason: Because the electric water heater belongs to the water storage type closed electric water heater, during heating or heat preservation, the water pressure in the inner container of the water heater is greater than 6Mpa, which causes the one-way safety valve to overflow and drop water. Treatment: close the water inlet valve and adjust the knob of the water mixing valve to high temperature to avoid water leakage from the one-way safety valve and make water drip out of the shower; If the water mixing valve is not installed, the ball valve at the hot water outlet can be opened a little, and the running water can be placed here, which can also avoid the one-way safety valve from leaking.

1. The water heater won't catch fire. (There is no electricity, the igniter is broken, the microswitch is broken, the hydraulic valve is broken, and the water quantity is too small. ).

6. The water is not hot in winter and too hot in summer. Fault fifteen, leakage protection indicator is not bright

Cause 1: Power rod seat is out of power or has poor contact. Treatment: check whether there is electricity with an electric pen, and whether the contact between the leakage protection plug and the socket is good.

Reason 2: The water heater has no water (or is not filled), the electric heating tube is in a dry state, and the reset button of the leakage protection plug pops up to cut off the power supply. Solution: First fill the water heater with water according to the instructions, and then press the reset button of the leakage protection plug, even if it can return to normal.

Reason 3: The water temperature of the water heater is too high, and the reset button of the leakage protection plug pops up to cut off the power supply. Treatment: thermostat failure. Replace thermostat.

Treatment: Check whether there is leakage with an electric pen. If there is leakage, use an electric pen to find out the leakage part and try to eliminate it.
