Three places that Tanggu must visit: Haihe Bund Park, Tianjin Foreign Goods Market and Binhai New Area Library (Tanggu Pavilion).

Haihe Bund Park 1

The Bund, located in Tanggu Street, Binhai New Area, Tianjin, is the earliest completed project in the development of Haihe River in Tianjin. It starts from Xinhua Road overpass in the east, reaches Yuehaiyuan high-rise residential area in the west, reaches Jiefang Road commercial pedestrian street in Shanghai Road in the north, and faces Linhai River in the south. The plane is irregular strip trapezoid.

2. Tianjin foreign goods market

Located in Fushun Road, Hebei Road, Hangzhou Road Street, Binhai New Area, Tianjin, and southwest of Hebei Road overpass of Jintang Highway. It is the first market in northern China that specializes in the trading of imported goods. Now it has four open areas: book lending room, adult periodical newspaper reading room, children's periodical newspaper reading room and hall e-book sharing space.

Tanggu history

Tanggu is located at the intersection of Beijing-Tianjin city and the city belt around Bohai Sea, and the center of Tianjin Binhai New Area. The total area of the region is 859 square kilometers, and the permanent population is 654.38+500,000. Tanggu has a history of over 800 years. In the eighth year of Song Dynasty (A.D. 1048), the Yellow River moved northward three times and entered the sea near Tianjin. The Yellow River "one stone, six buckets of mud" has amazing land-making ability, and "muddy water penetrates it to level the ground". By the second year of the Southern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1 128), Tanggu land was gradually formed.
