The difference between water bath, oil bath and sand bath
The difference between the three baths is that the temperature is different, the operation is different and the use is different.

Different temperatures: Compared with water bath, oil bath and sand bath, the temperature of sand bath is the highest and the temperature of water bath is the lowest.

Different operation: the operation method of water bath is the same as that of oil bath, but the operation of oil bath should be cautious to prevent oil from overflowing or the temperature of oil bath is too high, causing fire. The operation method of sand bath is basically the same as that of water bath, but the heat transfer of sand is worse than that of water and oil, so the container that needs sand bath is larger.

Different uses: water bath is generally used for experiments without temperature, and oil bath is mostly used for experiments with higher temperature.
