Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio is a feature film directed by Lan Naicai and starring Ye Zimei, Wensu, Hitomi Kud? and Dan Liwen. The total number of episodes is 10.

This film tells the story of a thousand-year-old fox, two sisters Huahua and three sisters Feifei, who are about to make a positive result, leaving the animal's body and living on earth. The three sisters met the poor scholar Wu Ming and had sex with him successively. Unexpectedly, Wu is the embodiment of the five gods and demons, relying on female essence to keep fit. Before long, the three girls gradually showed the characteristics of foxes and had to pull back from the brink and join hands to resist the temptation. After that, they got the help of the old Taoist priest and eliminated the evil spirits.

This film is the boldest of its kind in Hong Kong. It describes the contradiction between practice and desire in a particularly delicate way, and regards the body as a battlefield for men and women to wrestle. Although it is the whole play, it still embodies a certain truth.

Lan Naicai, director, photographer, screenwriter and travel photographer. 1953 was born in Hong Kong. At first, he was just a coolie, then he was promoted to be a photography assistant, and later he became one of the photographers, nicknamed "Mouse". He worked with famous directors such as Zhong Sun, Chu Yuan and Zhong Wang, and served as a photographer for seven years, which made him the best photographer in the film industry. I studied photography under the famous Japanese photographer Tadashi Nishimoto (also known as Helanshan).
