Meditate on the first experience of tea ceremony
"Zen Tea Ceremony" developed with the evolution of Zen culture and tea culture. Tea culture has a history of more than 7,000 years in China, and Buddhism brought Zen culture to China for nearly 2,000 years. The blending of Zen culture and tea culture has formed a unique Zen tea culture, which includes tea tasting, meditation and tea ceremony.

Master Ren Yun, the abbot of Zhengjue Temple in Boshan, Shandong Province, is the 46th descendant of Lin Ji School of Zen Buddhism. He inherited the meditation method of Zen Buddhism, and based on the jungle tea ceremony, he excavated and sorted out the "meditation tea ceremony" with reference to the rules of Zen forest preservation and Baizhang. It is emphasized that "the purpose of making tea is Zen, and kung fu is self-knowledge".

In order to cooperate with the teaching and promotion of "Meditation Tea Ceremony", Master Ren Yun specially wrote Twelve Meditation Tea Ceremonies and Three-character Classic of Meditation Tea Ceremony, explaining the twelve processes of "Meditation Tea Ceremony", the mental journey and practice essentials of each process, and the inheritance and connotation of Zen tea culture.

Meditation tea ceremony is a comprehensive cultural expression integrating meditation, tea ceremony, Zen poetry, Zen music and health preservation. With the help of tea sets, tea leaves, incense, lamps, water and other main tools and materials, it integrates the concept of meditation into every movement of the twelve procedures while completing the tea ceremony, so as to achieve the purpose of calming the body and mind, caring for the temperament, understanding the spiritual connotation of Zen and improving the realm of life.

About a year ago, I accidentally learned about meditation tea ceremony in a circle of friends. I was deeply shocked after watching the students' performance videos. How beautiful! Since then, I have planted the seeds of learning meditation tea ceremony in my heart. Meditation tea ceremony is held all over the country. There are about two elementary workshops in Shenzhen every year. I missed the course in Shenzhen at the beginning of the year, but I didn't go to other cities because I was lazy. I write this wish on my dream list and wait for the right time. Last month, I learned that the primary workshop of Zen Tea Ceremony Course was going to start in Shenzhen. I signed up without hesitation, and then I waited for the course with peace of mind.

At the beginning of the class, the teacher introduced the origin and development of Zen tea ceremony through PPT, music and video. After listening, the mood of learning is very urgent! Later, the teacher took us to know the tea set of meditation tea ceremony course one by one. Before introducing the tea set, the teacher said seriously, "This tea set will accompany us to learn all the meditation tea ceremony courses. Everything is spiritual. We should respect and appreciate tea sets. It can feel our thoughts and we will use it more easily. " After listening to the teacher's words, I touched the tea box and silently said: Nice to meet you, thank you for your company in the future, thank you! I love you!

The first day's course task: mainly learn the movements of the twelve procedures of meditation tea ceremony. The youngest students in this period are in the third grade of primary school, and the oldest is about 50 years old, and there are also many young people. Before teaching us movements, the teacher should first understand the students' contact with meditation and tea ceremony, and then remind everyone to put aside their previous learning cognition and learn the current course with an empty cup mentality.

The teacher is very patient. Before each process is taught, he rehearses it for everyone, and then takes everyone to practice it again. He found that everyone's movements were not in place, so he took pains to remind them to correct them. Finally, he took everyone to rehearse this process again to deepen their memory. Twelve process movements were taught, each of which was repeated. Meditation tea ceremony course pays attention to word of mouth. The teacher specially reminded everyone that when she started the teaching exercise of each process, she could only watch carefully and could not imitate, so that everyone could concentrate on observing every movement. Meditation means being aware of the present. When you do something, you will concentrate.

After a day of study, I am tired and happy. I was very attentive in class all day today. When I am tired in the afternoon, I still don't want to miss any details. I opened my eyes wide and studied hard with my teacher. I have a particularly good appetite when I eat, and I feel that the food is particularly delicious. I ate four small bowls of rice altogether. You know, I usually only eat one bowl per meal! I finished my diary at night and fell asleep soon. A beautiful and happy day has passed, and I look forward to the next day!
