However, friends who are familiar with the story of Eternal Dragon Slayer know that Tai Chi Chuan was a profound martial art that Zhang Sanfeng only practiced when he was nearly a hundred years old. But at this time, Zhang Sanfeng's name has become famous all over the world. In other words, Taiji Chuan, Zhang Sanfeng, has not yet been "born" with the fashion of its vagrancy. So, what did Zhang Sanfeng rely on before?
Zhang Sanfeng is a strange man, who rose almost by himself and stood at the top of the pyramid for decades, so that people in Wulin only dared to call him "Zhang Zhenren" without any struggle.
However, to put it another way, Zhang Sanfeng is also a man, not a god. It may be unrealistic for him to achieve such a high level by creating his own martial arts. In fact, his rise depends on the help of one person. This man is his teacher, Master Jue Yuan.
At first, Zhang Sanfeng was just a disciple of Shaolin Temple, studying under the librarian Jue Yuan. Originally, Master Jue Yuan was just an ordinary monk in Shaolin Temple, but he found a martial art in a volume of Shurangama Sutra, which made his life extraordinary. Because he discovered this martial art, which later made Zhang Wuji rise.
However, Master Jue Yuan was not fully aware of the value of this passage. He thought that only the effect of prolonging life was achieved, but he didn't expect that he had inadvertently developed amazing internal skills, from which Zhang Sanfeng naturally benefited.
Later, before his death, Master Jue Yuan tried his best to teach Jiuyang Jing. Guo Xiang and Zhang Sanfeng listened to the scriptures and founded Emei and Wutangmen.
It can be said that Zhen Jing in Jiuyang laid a solid foundation for the establishment of Wutang School, including Emei School, and Zhang Sanfeng naturally laid a solid foundation for his personal strength.
However, it's not enough to rely on a Jiuyang Jing. We have to say that Zhang Sanfeng is really a "genius of heaven and earth". Because after he went to Wudang Mountain, he learned an extremely profound martial art-pure Yang Wuji Gong by studying Taoist classics.
There is not much mentioned in the book about this set of martial arts, but a close reading can still capture some information: with this set of martial arts, Zhang Sanfeng has developed stronger internal skills than Zhang Wuji; With this martial arts, he defeated the extremely powerful Taoist priest. ...
Obviously, this kind of martial arts is Zhang Sanfeng's greatest reliance. However, although Zhang Sanfeng reached the peak of strength because of this martial arts, he still didn't stop. Therefore, in his later practice, he invented Taiji Chuan and Taiji Jianfa, which are quite consistent with the Taoist thought of "inaction".
It is worth mentioning that Wudang has been unable to get married because of Zhang Sanfeng's pure Yang and infinite skill, which led to the failure of seven disciples under Zhang Sanfeng and indirectly led to the decline of Wutangmen.
