Su Hei, a well-known psychotherapist and writer in Hong Kong and the Mainland, recently wrote a healing novel "Mountains, Ancient Trees and Me", which is about a healing studio named "Numb Tree" facing the sea. There are therapists who "see through everyone's pain roots at a glance" and mysterious tea people who "read the mind of therapeutic tea"
They will explore the source of pain for the guests who come to ask for help, match them with a cup of tea that can produce wonderful vibration with their bodies, and help them start a life of transformation from the inside out.
There are eighteen kinds of tea in this novel, and each kind of tea has its own unique story and the lifeblood of past lives. The appearance of tea is a mirror, and it is an important "medicine introduction" to cure various diseases.
Behind its birth is Su Hei's persistence in tea for many years and his experience of constant observation and self-repair in tea repair.
Su Hei said that readers often write to her and ask: How can I know myself better? She said, in fact, you will know after drinking a cup of tea. Tea is like a mirror, from which you can see your quality, your level, your current physical condition, your desires, your limitations and your ignorance.
She hopes to borrow tea to tell people how to repair themselves-tea is to teach us to know ourselves and how to soak, but it is just to reflect, fill and repair the holes in our hearts.
Su Hei introduced:
Well-known psychotherapists, writers, psychotherapists and life management consultants in Hong Kong and the Mainland are known as the chief emotional healing writers in the Chinese-speaking world.
She believes that people have the instinct to heal themselves. In recent years, she has studied the art of harmony, combining yin and yang, mind and brain to coordinate emotional therapy, especially self-therapy combining sound vibration and meditation. Establish a personal brand "listening to love" and develop sound therapy tools such as copper chimes and self-healing tuning forks.
Classic books, love yourself, cultivate love, and the latest novels, mountains, ancient trees and me.
Spiritual exploration: What kind of tea do you usually drink now?
Su Hei: Many people know that if it is not for studying or trying tea, I usually only drink Pu 'er when drinking tea, especially when old trees are popular or mature. This is a relatively simple natural tea, and it is successful when the sun is good. Usually make tea in the afternoon, and take turns drinking several different kinds of raw or cooked tea. It also depends on the weather, humidity and the state of tea, as well as its own state to decide what tea to drink.
Detective: You mentioned in your previous article that your constitution is cold and you have always loved and hated tea. So when did you come into contact with tea? What is the opportunity for you to really start the road of repairing tea?
Su Hei: Actually, tea chose me. I never deliberately touched tea, because I only drank water until I started drinking tea a few years ago. Drinking caffeinated tea or coffee would make my heart beat uneasy and my body uncomfortable. However, it is not clear whether it is because I don't know how to drink it that I feel unwell, or what the reason is. I didn't notice. I can only say that fate has not arrived.
Then, a few years ago, I have been trying to make readers experience the five senses, exercise seriously and find out their carelessness and numbness. While developing tools and methods of sound therapy, I want to start with diet, find something to eat into my body, experience changes, and look at myself as clear as a mirror.
I have always known that tea can help people feel quiet, and it is also a healthy drink. In those years, I met a great tea man friend, who simply fell in love with Yunnan's tea fields and found the cleanest and purest Pu 'er tea. I decided to study and practice my tea-drinking trip, hoping to find the effect I wanted.
Fate has arrived. The simplicity of Pu 'er tea, the land in Yunnan Plateau and the unique strength of trees have made me find nutrients in Pu 'er tea that are carefully adjusted and cultivated.
I spent several years drinking tea with an open mind, from good Pu 'er to bad Pu 'er, from other teas to observing the influence of water on tea quality, and the influence of tea on different constitutions and physical states. From the characteristics of tea, the level of introspection, and the quality of tea garden land, I have developed that I can teach you to cultivate yourself from tea. This is a wonderful learning trip.
Spiritual exploration: Have your body and mind changed after drinking tea continuously?
Su Hei: Drinking tea continuously is a test for me. It used to be the sequela of caffeine that made my heart beat faster. After several years of training and adjustment, I now know what kind of tea I can drink, how much I can drink, what is my physical and mental reaction after drinking it, how to drink it to have a good reaction, and what will happen if I exceed it. This is a valuable journey of discovery and a process that everyone should go through.
After drinking Pu 'er tea for several years, the breath is more transparent than before, and the inner sensitivity is improved. Knowing how to go deep into the body and internal changes step by step is an endless exploration and a humble learning for life. Tea helps me to open my five senses more deeply, distinguish and increase my wisdom.
Inner exploration: which teacher or teachers left a deep impression on you in the construction of tea road? What's their status? How did their understanding of tea impress you?
Su Hei: Thank you for meeting many good teachers. I also want to thank Lv Muzhen, the founder of Hong Kong Cloud Tea Garden. He is my initiator of Pu 'er tea and my good friend for many years. The biggest inspiration he gave me was "love tea first, then love the land". He said: "To drink good tea, we must first respect tea, save tea planting land and make tea seriously."
He funded the construction of canteens for schools in remote mountainous areas of Yunnan, so that children can study hard and increase their knowledge. I hope that in the future, I can realize that the greatest wealth left by my ancestors is a complete mountain, not just some tea trees, and protect and protect this tea mountain that gave birth to their growth. This kind of thinking has far-reaching significance.
"When you protect ancient tea trees and taste ancient tea, you are also supporting tea farmers to inherit the sustainable production methods handed down from their ancestors. Next year, you will have the opportunity to drink the same high-quality ancient tea, so that generations can enjoy the kindness of people and tea. "
Another enlightener is teacher Su Huiwen. Teacher Su insists on taking people rather than interests as the main body of tea making, returns to the most fundamental respect for "tea", integrates the spirit of learning Buddhism for more than 20 years into tea, and cultivates the way of combining people with tea.
Teacher Su has a basic requirement for tea: it must be clean and pure, not to be doped with unnecessary things, and not to pursue the decoration or atmosphere on the coffee table too much. It is more important to return to the tea itself.
She must wash her hands with tasteless soap before making tea, which is her strictness and respect for tea. She teaches tea at Shifang Zen Forest in Taipei, from water to tea, to brewing, to tasting and cultivation.
After decades of careful cultivation and painstaking cultivation of Buddhism, she has developed "super power", and she can know who made the tea, the mood of the tea maker and the origin of the tea at a taste. You have been intimate with tea. If you are one, tea will talk and you will have insight. Tea is just to show your relationship with the world.
Another good friend, Li Tianan, is a young tea man. He introduced a lot of tea in my novel Mountains, Ancient Trees and Me.
He doesn't always follow the mainstream "correct" tea-making method dominated by "standards" or forms. Before making tea, I would rather sharpen my heart, adjust to concentration and humility, not only be quiet, but also be careful, take care of and cultivate my children like my mother, and let water and tea blend into nectar.
He told me: "After the water is boiled, I like to take a break before brewing to leave more room for water and tea. Tea parties are more considerate and have more room for change. "
In fact, he is also talking about himself. Make the same kind of tea as you are. Whispering and laughing with tea, instead of manipulating her to make the effect you want, tea will open itself up and give you the best reply, so as to achieve the realm of mutual respect and mutual transformation between people and tea. He taught me to listen to what tea has to say to you first, not to tame tea, but to let tea edify you.
My formal tea teacher is Yu Wenxin. When she demonstrates making tea and making tea, she must first find her own center, decide first, then start, and then put it away. There is no need to be a man and live in the world. She said, "Whatever happens at the tea table, let it happen and experience it. Don't get stuck at a certain point. Go there first. There is no difference between good and bad, and you don't have to care. Forgive me and come again next time. That's enough. "
Tea itself is neither good nor bad. Tea is to teach us to know ourselves, to teach us how to make tea, to reflect and to fill the hole in our hearts. "She said that drinking tea is with yourself, first know how to get along with yourself, and then get along with others.
There is also Liu Keying, a senior tea man who has always been strict and respectful to tea and keeps learning. She showed me that the world of tea is a reflection of wisdom. Learn with an open mind, and there will always be surprises. Tea won't stay the same. If you take one more step, it will open your heart and let you see more and more.
This is a lifelong learning, but also the practice of tea.
Inner exploration: what is your own way of repairing tea? There is a saying in the new book: Everyone will always meet tea that matches your present life, and that is your "metamorphosis tea". Can you introduce your own "metamorphosis tea"?
Su Hei: I tasted every kind of tea with an open mind, and then I found my own metamorphosis tea, Pu 'er tea. If I want to choose a kind of tea as my practice tea, Pu 'er tea is my first choice. She tells you what is primitive and simple, and the truth of blending with trees. There is no fancy craft, which bypasses the desire for fragrance.
Because it is post-fermented tea, she has no taste appreciation period, and it is a kind of tea that can change year by year, just like watching people grow up. Getting along with Pu 'er tea is a waiting practice and a precipitation of years.
Every kind of tea has different cultivation, and the cultivation of Pu 'er tea is "companionship", which is profound and touching.
Some teas smell like tea, some drink the sun from trees, and some are fresh. Many teas can drink "static", but few teas can drink "static". My tea planting direction is mainly tea that can help people settle down. The ground and tea should be clean, and the body and mind should be clean. This is the first step of cultivation.
We have too much hearsay about drinking tea, too little personal experience and verification, and we don't know whether the score is good or bad or not. Many women, like me at first, don't understand the nature of tea or their reactions to the body. They just drink according to the recommendation or taste, and they don't know if they are drinking bad tea. They thought it was a good thing after drinking bad tea.
It is my wish to know tea correctly, see myself clearly through tea and cultivate my body and mind.
Spiritual exploration: you offer tea lessons. How do you help people practice and heal through tea lessons?
Su Hei: I remember that Li Lei, a friend of ten years and a famous TV host, said, "This tea is very honest, very honest and considerate for the first time."
After the second bubble, the body will "turn" and turn from top to bottom, and the connection is very good. It is very important to find out where the body is, because we are actually separated from breathing, rhythm and heartbeat.
But this second bubble was "stupidly" drunk and went far away. To tell the truth, I don't like it because I'm not ready to face myself, so my body is turning.
Seriously, everyone needs this kind of tea because it is brave. He also said, "Tea won't pry into your privacy, but it can make you feel healed." What she said is the key word of two tea repairs: face. After facing, it is healing.
The core of my tea class is to face myself. A cup of tea is a mirror, see yourself clearly. From the beginning of training the senses, let the people who make tea always return to a central point, and concentrate on one point like martial arts. This is the central axis of life's impartiality and never giving up. Almost all the reasons are inseparable from this. When making tea, you must first grasp a central point, so that the brewed tea will be powerful and straight.
This is not a etiquette, not a ceremony, not a question of looking good or not, but a word: set. Settle down first, then settle down. The most important thing in reviewing is to be patient, take your time, be caring and wise. People who drink tea begin with the cultivation of "six senses of tea", and cultivate perception, senses, presence, quietness, gratitude and sentiment.
Your body is your Dojo, and tea is the best meditation tool. The focus of my tea cultivation is to practice with tea, combine people with tea, respect the tea ecology through understanding and tasting, learn from the rich levels and changes of tea, and see myself clearly. The essence of raising tea is to respect nature, let go of self and habits, and cultivate one's morality.
In the final analysis, learning from tea means that people belong to the uterus, and tea belongs to the land of tea and the mountain of tea. First, I want to teach you to look at what tea is again, and it is related to tea trees first, instead of paying attention to the external forms such as tea soup and tea set and the aesthetic feeling of tea people. Then practice (training, practice) and open your senses, presence, awareness and gratitude.
Recently, a series of salons outside the tea ceremony was opened, called "a tea party". In the form of "a tea for a while" and "a tea for a question", I deeply discussed many life topics in the novel, and I met you with wisdom and growth.
Spiritual exploration: What advice do you have for beginners who don't know tea and want to start tea training? In the face of numerous teas, how to start and find the tea that suits you?
Su Hei: Don't blindly follow your heart, unless you just want to have a cup of tea to kill time. Tea correction needs to be serious when it enters the realm of repair. My first feeling about tea planting is "perception". I need to learn first to know what kind of tea you are drinking, whether this tea is clean, not deceptive, and not harmful to your health.
Taste more personally, train the five senses carefully, take tea lessons if you feel stupid, practice meditation lessons, and prepare yourself for the basic skills of distinguishing and evaluating good and bad. The essence of raising tea is to respect nature. First, we should know the source of tea, where it was planted, how it was planted, whether it was damaged, whether it relied on pesticides and frequently picked substandard goods.
After knowing it, choose your own taste that is easier to eat, learn the tea properties of different teas step by step, and test them with your body. This is a basic skill for several years, and then a lifelong benefit.
No matter how delicious tea is, it may also be one-sided desire satisfaction. If you just want to eat delicious food, it's all the same. If you want to go into serious tea restoration, it is recommended to choose only clean tea, and then let your body react and tell you which tea is suitable for you and which tea you are not ready for, so you should continue to restore.
