After joining the league, he studied under the famous Tsing Yi actor and coach Song Rongting, and under the apprentice of Feng (a small stage name, common name Feng Anwa) to learn to sing Tsing Yi. Song Rongting's singing is pure, gentle, charming and euphemistic, and he is good at falling rocks and singing high and low. He summed up the singing skills of Pu Opera as a unique trick of "pressing, clicking, stopping, pulling, flashing and releasing", which changed the disadvantages of loose hanging boards in the past and was unique and charming. Song Rongting inherited and developed the vocal characteristics of Feng School, paying special attention to the distinct rhythm, cadence, proper priorities and strong drawling. In the teaching of disciple Zhu Xiuying, he not only taught the essentials of "six-character formula", but also changed the singing style of male Dan to that of female Dan, which made him sing his own characteristics on the basis of inheriting the singing style of mezzo-soprano. Through diligent study and hard practice, Zhu Xiuying boldly innovated and developed the singing method of six-character formula, and endowed it with new contents, so that his singing method could make the audience listen to every word and feel the emotion. As long as she starts singing, she can make the audience intoxicated. Some people say that she is "Bel Canto", while others praise her as "unique". In any case, it is generally acknowledged that Zhu Xiuying is the true successor of Anwar's Random Thoughts, which really has a great influence on Pu Opera.

When Zhu Xiuying first arrived at Puchu Opera Troupe in Yicheng County, he was short and dignified, and he couldn't see anything clever. Some people say that she is not the material for singing, but then her mentor Ren Zhixiang found wisdom from his honesty and dexterity from his stupidity, especially from her explosive singing. She found herself a good prospect, so she asked the famous director Wei Ying to arrange Broken Bridge and Godson for her. She took "Three Opposite Faces" to perform in Jinnan Special Zone, which was an instant hit and won the second prize. 1963, Jinnan Special Zone organized a group of famous Pu Opera actors to record in Beijing, including Zhu Xiuying. When recording, many leaders and experts spoke highly of her singing skills. They say that this little fat man sings well, not only well, but also people in Beijing and other places can understand him. Her recordings of "Three Mother Godsons" and "Four Sons" lasted for 45 minutes, which was unique at that time.

Zhu Xiuying's plays are three opposites (Qin Xianglian), three high-fives (Wang Baochuan), three godsons of mothers (Wang Chune) and four scholars (Young Souljaz). In traditional Chinese opera, he played Gan (Princess Silverscreen), da ji (Queen Jiang) and the sheepfold (Zhao Jintang). In the drama, he has acted in Xiangyangpo (as the captain's wife), The Red Lantern (as), Shajiabang (as Grandma Sha), Huaishuzhuang (as Aunt Zhao), Song of Longjiang (as Pan Shui's mother) and so on. He also acted in the drama Zhang Lian Selling Cloth, Military and Civilian Fish and Water, and Flat Peach Garden. China national radio has produced three high-fives, three opposite faces, godson of three mothers, description of Liu Lin and other records for her. 1978, she participated in the theater performance in Linfen area with the "Three High Five" discount play, which was well received and made a demonstration performance for the actors in the whole region.

During his stay in Yicheng Troupe, Zhu Xiuying constantly taught the singing skills of "Six-character Classics" to students from generation to generation, and gradually formed his own genre. He was transferred to houma city Pu Opera Troupe from 65438 to 0985 and retired from 65438 to 0989. After her retirement, she has been devoted to the teaching of traditional drama in China. In 2003, he taught at Hejin Culture and Art School, and cultivated many small plum blossom awards. Now she is full of peaches and plums and has many disciples. Her operas are quite famous in Pu Opera circles in Shanxi, Henan and Shaanxi. I believe it will play a certain role in promoting the inheritance, innovation and development of Pu Opera.
