Four. Brief introduction of Guiyang Changpoling National Forest Park

Guiyang Changpoling National Forest Park is located in the northwest of Guiyang. There is no severe cold in winter, no heat in summer and abundant rainfall. The annual average temperature 13.6℃ is 2℃ lower than that of Guiyang. The unique climatic conditions have given birth to abundant animal and plant resources. There are 59 kinds of common wild animals in the park. The existing forests are mainly pure forests of Pinus massoniana and Pinus armandii, and some are mixed coniferous forests of Pinus massoniana, Pinus armandii, Quercus variabilis, Cinnamomum camphora and Catalpa bungeana, and mixed coniferous forests of Pinus massoniana, Pinus armandii, cypress and Chinese fir. The forest coverage rate of 72% makes it known as the "ecological museum" in Guiyang, and the fresh negative oxygen ions make it a natural "forest oxygen bar".

Walking along the main landscape road from the south gate of the park, a stone tablet with the words "Changpoling Ancient Post Road" stands impressively on the roadside. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the winding stone road extended to the depths of the forest. Who would have thought that this was a part of the ancient tea-horse road that once connected Guizhou with the outside world? The bluestone that has been polished by the years may still have traces of horseshoes, which reminds people of the merchants and caravans that came and went in those years, countless historical aftertaste, and unclear camel bells. Continue to the highest point of the park, you can enjoy the rare lawn under the natural forest in the city. The tall Huashan pine is dotted with morning mist, just like a fairyland. In the afternoon, the sun shines on the green grass through the cracks in the pine leaves, which will slowly bring vitality to recovery. Children play wantonly on the grass, and tourists stroll in the Woods on the wooden plank road, enjoying the rare tranquility in the city.

Go back and you will come to Sakura Lake, the central attraction of the park. Green surrounds the sparkling lake, willows droop, business is abundant, and pink cherry blossoms bloom by the lake, hence the name Sakura Lake. In recent years, the fitness trail around the lake has been rebuilt in the park, which enriches the varieties of cherry blossoms and improves the ecological landscape environment, making Sakura Lake suitable for all seasons. In spring, it is bathed in the romance of "cherry blossoms are like birds singing", in summer, it feels the coolness of "the shade of trees shines on the water, and it loves sunny and soft", in autumn, it feels the sultry heat of "lonely sunset in Qi Fei", and in winter, it enjoys the whiteness of "the north wind blows geese and snow in succession".
