What materials do you need to make rice wine?
Brewing rice wine requires the following main raw materials:

Glutinous rice: the main raw material of rice wine, usually made of glutinous rice. Glutinous rice contains high starch and sugar, which is the main source of rice wine fermentation.

Yeast: As the starter of rice wine, different types of yeast can be used, such as dry yeast and distiller's yeast. The selection and use of yeast will affect the taste and quality of yellow rice wine.

Water: clear water is needed to make rice wine, which is used to cook glutinous rice and adjust the concentration of fermentation broth.

Sugar or other seasonings (optional): In order to increase the sweetness and flavor of yellow rice wine, appropriate amount of sugar, honey, medlar, osmanthus and other seasonings can be added.

In addition to the above main materials, the following tools and equipment are needed to make rice wine:

Boiling pot: used to boil glutinous rice and boiling water.

Thermometer: used to measure the temperature of glutinous rice and fermentation broth.

Container: used to hold glutinous rice and fermentation broth, glass bottles, pottery pots, stainless steel barrels and other clean and odorless containers can be used.

Screen or gauze: used to filter impurities and dregs in rice wine.

It should be noted that when making rice wine, environmental sanitation and tools should be kept clean to avoid adverse consequences.
