Heilongjiang province, referred to as black. Harbin, the provincial capital. Located in the northeast of China, it is the northernmost province with the highest latitude in China, starting from1211'in the west, 135 05' in the east, 43 26' in the south, 53 33' in the north and 65433' in the east-west direction. The north and east face Russia across the river, the west is adjacent to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the south is adjacent to Jilin Province. The province's total land area is 473,000 square kilometers (including Jiagedaqi and Songling District), ranking sixth in the country. The landform of Heilongjiang Province is characterized by "five mountains, one water, one grass and three fields". Generally speaking, the terrain is high in northwest, north and southeast, and low in northeast and southwest. It is mainly composed of mountains, platforms, plains and water surfaces. The northwest is Daxinganling in the northeast-southwest direction, the north is Xiaoxing 'anling in the northwest-southeast direction, and the southeast is Zhangguangcailing, Laoyeling and Wanda Mountain in the northeast-southwest direction. The piedmont and eastern mountains of Xing 'an Mountains are platforms, the northeast is Sanjiang Plain (including Xingkai Lake Plain), and the west is Songnen Plain.
