There has always been a legend in Sichuan that Shennong tasted a hundred herbs and tasted a kind of heartbroken grass, so he died. Its legend can also be found in "Huai Nan Zi Xiu Wu Xun", which records: "Shennong tastes a hundred herbs and encounters seventy poisons a day."
"Dark Biography" also clearly wrote: "Shennong tasted grass and was poisoned, and his stomach was restless. He quickly tasted the medicine and saw through the seventy-two poisonous gods. It is very important for Shennong to have a monarch, and Shennong was awarded an outstanding title. Seventy-seven people escaped from danger, and thirty-six plants were returned to their grandchildren. Shennong saved the people, and the poisonous god fled into the deep mountains and forests. Up to now, good medicine tastes bitter, and poison is really rare ... ". It is conceivable that Shennong tasted countless kinds of flowers and fruits in order to find edible food and herbs for artificial cultivation at that time, risking poisoning. People's morality is very high. They won't do anything they shouldn't do with fire. It was only later that people began to do bad things with fire, and it was not until the last day that the function of fire was taken away from the human body.
All the people with Fuxi came to ask questions when they saw Fuxi catching fish. Fuxi roasted the fish with fire in public and tore it up for them to eat. Everyone ate it and found it delicious. Fuxi said to them, "Since the fish is delicious, we will start fishing in the future to help make up for our lives." Of course, everyone agrees. Now they all go to the river to catch fish. After fishing all afternoon, almost everyone caught one, and some caught three or four. Now everyone is very happy. They take the fish back and have a delicious meal.
Later, God gave Fuxi some ways to catch fish.
One day, Fuxi was idle again, lying under a tree and looking at the sky.
At this moment, he saw a spider weaving a web between two branches. One line on the left, one line on the right, and soon a round net will be formed. After the spider made a web, after a while, some mosquitoes, flies and so on. Fly far away and soon stick to the internet. Spiders use these gains to make a hearty meal.
When Fuxi saw the spider weaving a web, his heart was suddenly enlightened. He ran to the mountain and found some kudzu vines as ropes to weave a thick web like a spider's web. Then he cut off two sticks, tied them to the net, and tied a long stick in the middle, and the net was finished. He took the net to the river and put it in the river. After a while, he pulled it up. Oh, the net is full of lively fish. This method is really good. Compared with catching fish by hand, people don't have to go into the water.
Fuxi taught people how to weave nets. From then on, everyone knows to fish with nets, and people still fish with nets until now.
