According to legend, "Shen Nong's Health-preserving Merit" originated from Yan Di Shen Nong, our ancestor of Chinese medicine and agricultural inventions, and was passed down from generation to generation by Taoist priests and doctors, and has continued to this day. It has laid a valuable foundation for our Chinese nation's TCM theory of nature and taste, meridian theory, Taoist practice of internal alchemy and theory of Dan medicine. It can be called the treasure of the motherland's culture and the intangible national wealth.
Shennong is one of the Huang San and the ancestor of the Chinese nation, which is enshrined in Taoism. Shennong was born in a cave in Lieshan Mountain. It is said that he is a bull's head. Because of his special appearance, hard work and courage, he was promoted to tribal leader when he grew up. Because his tribe lives in the hot south, it is called Yandi, and everyone calls him Yandi. Once, when he saw a bird holding a seed, he invented grain agriculture. Because of these outstanding contributions, everyone also called him Shennong.
He saw that people sometimes eat things they shouldn't eat and get poisoned. If they are heavy, they get poisoned. I don't know the right medicine when I am sick. It's all stiff, just get through it, but if you don't get through it, you'll die. Emperor Shennong was very worried about this matter, and he was determined to taste all kinds of herbs, determine the medicinal properties, and eliminate disasters and diseases for everyone. When Shennong was looking for a cure, he met a fairy and practiced magic. It is said that people who practice this strength can reconcile the yin and yang of the body, strengthen the internal organs, strengthen the body, prolong life, feel the flow of qi in the body, walk along the meridians and acupoints, and see which meridians and viscera the food eaten in the body can enter after digestion, what role it can play and whether it is toxic. Shennong went to the Tiandi Garden in the wilderness to collect Yao grass, and was given a whip by Tiandi. Shennong used this whip to beat the fierce beast all the way to clear the way, tasted all the medicinal materials with divine power to protect the body, and recorded the sexual taste and efficacy of each medicine, whether it was toxic or not. Shennong was poisoned many times in the process of tasting various herbs, and at most he was poisoned 70 times a day. In the end, Shennong selected 365 kinds of herbs to be included in Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica, which has been handed down from generation to generation and can cure all diseases. Among them, there are 252 kinds of plant medicine, 67 kinds of animal medicine and 46 kinds of mineral medicine. According to the different properties and purposes of use, drugs are divided into three categories: upper, middle and lower. It is called "three-product classification" and meets the three talents of "heaven and earth". Top grade 120, non-toxic. Most of them are nourishing and strong products, such as ginseng, licorice, rehmannia root and jujube, which can be taken for a long time. There are 120 kinds of products in China, some are non-toxic and some are toxic, and some can make up the deficiency and help the weak, such as lily, angelica, longan and velvet antler. Some can dispel pathogenic factors and resist diseases, such as coptis chinensis, ephedra, angelica dahurica and scutellaria baicalensis. There are 0/25 kinds of inferior drugs/kloc-,many of which are toxic and can dispel evil and break accumulation, such as rhubarb, aconite, kansui, croton, etc., which cannot be taken for a long time. This is the earliest pharmacological classification in China, which has been used for several generations. In order to commemorate his kindness and achievements, people regarded him as the God of the King of Medicine, and built the Temple of the King of Medicine, offering sacrifices in four seasons.
Thus, the birth of Shennong's Herbal Classic Shen Gong has made an indelible contribution. In order to commemorate the "magic power", later generations named it "Shen Nong's health-preserving power", because it has the health-preserving effect of strengthening the body and prolonging life, which has been passed down from generation to generation by Taoist priests and doctors and continues to this day.
The inheritance of "Shen Nong's health-preserving work" is generally passed down from generation to generation by the family of Chinese medicine or Taoism, and it is never taught, so few people in the world know it, adding a lot of mystery to the outside world. "Shennong's health-preserving merit" has always carried the oldest Chinese culture, the practice of doctors saving the world and the Taoist health-preserving thought. It has a long history and has been passed down to this day, and it has also experienced many hardships along the way. It is said that the original rare edition of Shennong's Herbal Classic has been lost, leaving only the space for the drugs we see today. But it is as indelible as our Chinese culture, passed down from generation to generation for the benefit of future generations. Inheritors also carry forward on the original basis. At present, a lot of kung fu has evolved from it, and today it has developed into many schools and practices. Different people achieve different effects and purposes. People who practice martial arts can break through bricks and stones, strengthen muscles and bones, and reach the surface of fur, so they are extremely brave. Health-preserving people can reconcile yin and yang, strengthen the five internal organs, strengthen the body and prolong life. Practitioners can truly understand the nature and taste of traditional Chinese medicine, the direction of meridians, the specific location of acupoints, the relationship between zang-fu organs and meridians, and so on, as well as the above functions, so as to avoid copying the knowledge in books mechanically and delaying the pathogenesis.
Laozi's Tao Te Ching once described "keeping in good health" in this way: "The mysterious is the door of Wan Qi." The Tao Te Ching has a very detailed description of the cultivation methods of "health preservation" and "quietness", such as: "achieving emptiness and quietness"; "I often have no desire to see its wonders, and I often want to see its wonders"; "If it is continuous, it will not be used often." The general idea is that calmness leads to nothingness, no desire and no thoughts, and firmly adheres to "quietness". There will be some wonderful feelings in the process of keeping "quiet" If there are no distractions, you can feel the wonderful feeling of nothingness with peace of mind. If you have distractions and desires, you can feel the wonderful feeling in a specific position of your body (referring to your abdomen). As long as you practice hard, if you don't have "true qi", you will keep wandering all over your body to achieve the goal of health and longevity. Laozi said: "mania wins cold, quietness wins heat, and quietness is the best in the world"; "People can always be quiet, and heaven and earth will be returned"; "So clean, gradually into the truth; Both into the truth, that way "; "Enlightened people are often quiet." -this is the "Tao" and this is the "Shennong Health".
Huangdi Neijing and Huangtingjing have a more systematic, detailed and clear description of the cultivation of "health preservation". In particular, Huang Tingjing described the position of intentional defense (that is, "keep thinking" which is what I call "keep quiet"), the scene that appeared when intentional defense, and the way of swallowing "jade liquid" (that is, saliva). After the disaster, the mouthwash will not dry up. The specific positions of the three "Dantian" and the three "Huang Ting" (where the three-inch gas is not rotten), the positions of meridians and acupoints, and the effect after cultivation are more incisive and easier to understand than the Tao Te Ching.
"The immortal Taoist priest is not a god, he is full of energy and thinks it is true." This sentence in "Huang Ting Jing" tells the core essence and way of practicing "keeping in good health": all people who gain the Tao are not blessed by heaven, nor are they born, but need to gather their true qi through unremitting efforts and accumulated practice, so that they can live a long and healthy life, that is, "gaining the Tao"!
"Shen Nong's health preserving technique" is an ancient culture in China that comes down in one continuous line with traditional Chinese medicine. It is an ancient TCM breathing-guided regimen, which complements the knowledge of Chinese medicine such as meridians, acupoints, acupuncture, massage and pharmacy, and can be said to be a mother-child relationship. Without Shennong's health-keeping exercise, the medical theories of Chinese medicine such as meridians, acupoints, acupuncture, massage, pharmacy and so on will cease to exist, because without the operation of health-keeping exercise qi (physiological electric energy), who can feel the existence and position of meridians and acupoints? Nature and taste of traditional Chinese medicine and meridian tropism? Without these foundations, let alone expand the theoretical knowledge of other Chinese medicine. Without these ancient Chinese medicine treatments, our Chinese ancestors could not compete with the diseases at that time, and there would be no prosperity for our Chinese descendants now. Therefore, the importance of "Shennong Health" can be seen.
"Shen Nong's body-building exercise" is actually a simple and effective method, which can quickly gather the physiological electricity of the human body. According to the law, it is very fast and has a very prominent effect on health. We all know that human beings live in a big magnetic field. The whole universe, solar system and even the earth are full of magnetic fields, which are used to maintain the balance of the whole environment. The human body is actually a small magnetic field, and all physiological functions of the human body are completed by the participation of physiological electricity (the beating of the heart, the rotation of thinking, and the generation of every tiny action are completed by physiological electricity). Electric energy and magnetic energy have always played an extremely important role in human society. The strength of physiological electricity determines the health state of human body. Shennong's health-preserving exercise is to effectively gather physiological electricity scattered in human tissues to an inherent place through a specific network laid by the human body (namely meridians and acupoints). This place is what we often say: Upper Dantian, Middle Dantian and Lower Dantian. These three dantian fields have the functions of collecting, storing, gestating and releasing physiological electricity, which is repeated. There are many ways to treat diseases by electrotherapy and magnetic therapy in modern medicine, and the effect is good. Modern doctors can't make the human body generate stronger electric energy or magnetic energy than usual, and they can only use external force to treat diseases (for example, patients with cardiac arrest are activated by two electrodes). Cases in which meridians and acupoints can cure all diseases abound in our lives, which makes us convinced. Our country has never given up the research on ancient people and even modern people using meridians and acupoints to treat diseases, but so far there is no specific conclusion. The twelve meridians and the meridians and acupoints of the Eight Veins of Qijing can't be found or seen in modern anatomy, but they are real, which can't help but show how great and wise our ancestors are, and it has also been proved, but modern medicine and technology can't prove his existence, which doesn't mean that it really doesn't exist. We believe that in the near future, these mysteries and miracles will be clearly explained by modern medicine and technology!
