After the lettuce is harvested, sprinkle lime powder evenly, using about one bag per mu. Lime powder can not only disinfect and dehumidify, but also kill grass and eggs.

1. Soil disinfection

Apply quicklime 100 kg and chopped grass 500- 1000 kg per mu of protected land, dig deep into the soil, irrigate after ridging, spread plastic film, seal plastic film 15-20 days, and raise the soil temperature to 45℃ to sterilize and kill nematodes.

2. Acupoint sterilization

Pull out diseased plants in the field before watering or raining, and spray 250g of quicklime on the diseased areas for sterilization, which can prevent and control tomato bacterial wilt and canker, eggplant bacterial wilt, leek bacterial blight, melon wilt, squash, potato, celery, carrot bacterial soft rot, cabbage clubroot and soft rot.

Step 3 control pests

Spraying 25-40 kilograms of quicklime per mu after ploughing can dry the soil for 5-7 days, which can eliminate the flea beetle that harms vegetables. Sprinkle quicklime linearly between vegetable plants in sunny days, and apply 5-7.5 kg per mu to control slugs.

4. Adjust the soil pH value.

Applying quicklime powder100-150kg per mu, ploughing into the soil and adjusting the soil pH can prevent and control diseases such as bacterial wilt of melon vegetables, bacterial wilt of eggplant vegetables, clubroot of cruciferous vegetables, tomato virus disease, bacterial soft rot of carrots, melon wilt and pea wilt.
