Raw flesh and blood composition
The content of raw flesh and blood mainly includes muscles (organs with high muscle content or organs composed of muscles such as meat and heart), such as chicken breast, duck breast, beef, heart and roe deer.
Liver is also an important part of raw meat, but usually the liver does not need to be fed more, and only 5% of the total raw meat can be added when feeding.
Cartilage, chicken neck, quail and other cartilage tissues also need to be added with raw bones, and all bones can be eaten raw and put into edible bowls. If your cat doesn't like to eat such bones, you can use other calcium-containing nutritional powder (eggshell powder) instead.

How to start guiding the host to start eating raw meat?
It is always difficult to take the first step to eat raw meat.
Step one:
Before you start trying, you can feed your host wet canned food for 3-5 days as a staple food. Let cats get used to their own rations, and there will be a qualitative leap!
Step two:
At the beginning, you don't have to make a full set of raw meat packages for your host. You need to start with simple chicken breast and practice slowly.
It is recommended to feed a few small pieces of raw chicken breast in wet cans every day. After the owner gets used to it, he can add liver, heart and other internal organs for feeding.
But be careful to feed the canned food together, because the cat may not be able to accept the smell of internal organs at first. If you are not at ease, you can steam the internal organs and eat them in cans.

Step 3:
This mixed feeding can last for one to two weeks. When the cat has begun to adapt to raw meat, it can start preparing a nutritious meal for raw meat!
Chicken, duck, venison, beef and other meats can be selected according to the preferences and nutrition of cats. Chicken heart, chicken gizzard, duck gizzard, chicken liver, cow kidney and other internal organs are common combinations of raw flesh and blood. In terms of bones, you can choose cartilage such as chicken, duck neck and whole chicken for lifelong feeding.
It is generally recommended to control the whole set of raw meat to 4%-6% of your master's weight. Adult cats are fed 2-3 times a day.
You can mix raw meat with canned food. It is also suggested that the meal time should be fixed. The time interval is 4-5 hours. It is recommended to buy a kitchen scale for precise control.
When taking raw meat, cut large pieces of meat or internal organs into small pieces for cats to eat.

What additional nutrients can be added to raw meat?
Nutrients that can be added have raw egg yolk, which is generally beneficial to cat hair growth and nutritional supplement. But it is not advisable to feed too much, because the yolk cholesterol is high, and it is usually fed once or twice a week.
Eggshell powder with calcium supplement can also be added (raw animal cartilage can also supplement calcium).
We need omega 3. If your cat doesn't like the smell of fish, this needs to be supplemented. You can buy it in a pet store.
Matters needing attention in raw meat feeding
First, do a good job of insect repellent in the body
If you eat raw flesh and blood, it is inevitable that parasites will remain in cats. It is still recommended to do mosquito repellent once every 2-3 months. If your cat likes to go out, it's best to drive insects once a month!
Second, the storage of raw meat and blood needs attention.
First, all meat must be frozen. After distributing the amount of each feeding to the cat, put it in the frozen layer of the refrigerator, preferably 72 hours.
Third, the feeding time needs to be controlled
Because raw meat is easy to deteriorate in normal temperature space, it is recommended to control the feeding time within half an hour, especially now that summer is here, so it is necessary to control the feeding time, otherwise the cat will easily get upset!
