How to prevent hypertension in winter
In winter/for people with family history of hypertension or high-risk factors, it is very important to prevent hypertension, and the preventive measures are mainly to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Exercise can improve blood pressure. Non-hypertensive people and patients with stable blood pressure control at the target level should exercise at least five days a week, including walking, jogging, cycling or swimming, and at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise and 75 minutes of high-intensity exercise every week. High-risk patients need professional evaluation before exercise.

Pay attention to decompression or avoid pressure. Making strategies to manage stress is helpful to control blood pressure.

Quit smoking. Smoking can raise blood pressure, while quitting smoking can reduce the risk of hypertension and heart disease.

And other metabolic diseases.

Eat healthily. Excessive intake of alcohol, drugs and unhealthy diet with high salt, sugar and fat should be avoided.
