Among more than 230 emperors in China's twenty-five history, the top three longevity emperors are female emperors Wu Zetian, who died at the age of 82; In the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Liang Wudi ZSZSZSZ lived to the age of 86; In the Qing Dynasty, Qianlong lived to the age of 89, ranking first among the ancient emperors in China, and was called the "ancient but rare" son of heaven by the world.

How can Emperor Qianlong live a long life? Where is the mystery? It turns out that Gan Long is good at keeping in good health, and he has studied the way of keeping in good health. He realized the secret of keeping in good health: "Take a deep breath and exercise your bones and muscles, ten times, four times, and make up in time."

In addition, Emperor Qianlong believed that life should be regular and hobbies should be extensive.

The so-called "breathing in your heart": get up at dawn, don't sleep late, do more deep breathing exercises before breakfast and persevere.

The so-called "active muscles and bones": that is, actively participate in physical exercise and enhance disease resistance. Kangxi, Qianlong's grandfather, took riding and shooting as the ancestral family law, and taught the royal disciples "to learn riding and shooting, and not to be arrogant." Therefore, Ganlong was good at riding since he was a child, and his riding skills were excellent. In the royal archery competition in the summer resort, he showed his talents many times. When he became emperor, he took pleasure in shooting and riding horses. Until he was eighty, he still hunted everywhere. Riding a horse and archery, with a large amount of activities, is undoubtedly a good exercise way for emperors living in the Qing Dynasty.

The so-called "ten frequencies": frequent tooth tapping, frequent swallowing, frequent ear snapping, frequent nose rubbing, frequent eye movement, frequent face rubbing, frequent foot rubbing (Yongquan point), frequent abdomen turning, frequent limb stretching and frequent anal lifting.

The so-called "four noes": don't talk when eating, don't talk when lying down, don't get drunk when drinking, and have bedroom eyes.

The so-called "timely tonic": it means eating regularly. Have a regular diet. He gets up around 6 o'clock all the year round, eats breakfast after washing, handles government affairs after dinner, and has talks and visits with ministers in the afternoon. After dinner, read books, practice calligraphy, write poems, and then eat. The diet is mainly fresh vegetables, and meat and umami are eaten less, and they are never full. Ganlongxi likes drinking tea and is very particular about drinking water (Yu Xishan Spring). He also imitated his grandfather Kangxi and never smoked.

Qianlong experienced Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong and Jiaqing dynasties, with a rare history. Qianlong has a wide range of hobbies, profound knowledge and wide tastes; I especially like the following healthy sports:

(1) likes "traveling"

As far as people know, he traveled all over China famous mountains and rivers, ancient temples and Buddhist temples, and many urban and rural areas have his footprints. Ten scenic spots in Hangzhou were inscribed by his imperial pen. Therefore, setting foot in the wild, a wide and quiet place, is refreshing and carefree, which promotes his physical and mental health.

(2) Love reading and calligraphy

He is a rare and versatile emperor among feudal emperors. He loves reading and knows Manchu, Mongolian, Uygur, Tibetan and Chinese. He likes calligraphy and learns to respect Zhao Ti, which is round and beautiful. Wherever he goes, he likes royal calligraphy. He is good at poetry. It is said that he wrote 1300 articles and 40,000 poems in his life. He also likes to watch operas, lanterns, acrobatics, skating and so on. He acted the play himself. All these are conducive to his self-cultivation.

Because of the method of keeping in good health, he was strong all his life, and he was still sober in his nineties. He also asked about state affairs as the emperor's father, calling himself "the old man in Shiquan".

Although the secret of Qianlong's longevity has the limitations of the times, its position as an ancient master of health preservation is undeniable. We should proceed from reality and absorb its beneficial essence.
