Who is Wu?
Wu (1922.8.3 1-), a native of Minqing County, Fujian Province, is a famous expert in hepatobiliary surgery, an academician of China Academy of Sciences, and one of the pioneers and main founders of liver surgery in China. He is known as "the father of hepatobiliary surgery in China".

In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), he entered Tongji High School. 199 1 graduated from Tongji Medical College (now Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology) with a bachelor's degree and was elected as an academician of China Academy of Sciences. In 2005, it won the highest national science and technology award, 20 165438. 201February 3rd was gloriously elected as the person of the year of China 20 1 1.

Wu first put forward a new viewpoint of "five leaves and four segments" in China's liver anatomy. He pioneered the method of intermittent hilar blocking normal temperature hepatectomy in China, broke through the forbidden area of middle lobe surgery, and established a complete early diagnosis and treatment system for hepatic cavernous hemangioma and small liver cancer. He presided over the establishment of a professional center for the treatment and research of hepatobiliary diseases, and won 24 scientific and technological progress awards from the state, the army and Shanghai. Published medical monographs such as Atlas of Abdominal Surgery and Atlas of Liver Surgery 19, and published more than 220 papers.
