Chinese-English bilingual textbooks for Chinese medicine colleges and universities nationwide? The main content of TCM health preservation: TCM has been paid more and more attention by countries all over the world because of its unique theoretical system and remarkable clinical effect. In recent years, with the surge of Chinese medicine in the world, the number of foreign students studying Chinese medicine in China has increased year by year. In order to meet the needs of international exchange and cooperation of Chinese medicine, speed up the internationalization of Chinese medicine and improve the teaching quality of foreign students studying Chinese medicine in China, according to the spirit of the higher authorities such as the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and state administration of traditional chinese medicine, the National Society for International Exchange and Cooperation of Chinese Medicine Higher Education decided to launch the Textbook for Foreign Advanced Students in Chinese Medicine Colleges and Universities (PublicationNo. 1997- 1998). This work has been highly valued by the Teaching Materials Office of the Ministry of Health, and has received strong support from the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, china scholarship council, the National Society for Education and Management of Foreign Students in Colleges and Universities, universities and People's Health Publishing House. Immediately, the textbook was revised and incorporated into the 11th Five-Year Plan of the Ministry of Health, and the Chinese-English Bilingual Textbook Editing Committee for Foreign Students of the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Ministry of Health was established. On the basis of the first edition, this set of teaching materials is still published in both Chinese and English, that is, the front part is Chinese and the back part is divided into English translation of Chinese. According to the teaching needs of foreign students, the teaching materials have been increased from six subjects (basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine, prescription, internal medicine of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage) to 10 (Chinese medicine, gynecology of traditional Chinese medicine, health preservation of traditional Chinese medicine and medicine have been added). According to the learning characteristics and teaching needs of foreign students in China, the textbook is based on the textbook for foreign advanced students in Chinese medicine colleges (first edition), and refers to the undergraduate syllabus of Chinese medicine colleges, the international examination syllabus for Chinese medicine practitioners and the national examination syllabus for Chinese medicine practitioners, as well as the curriculum textbooks of Chinese medicine colleges in the fifth, seventh and 21st centuries. Compiling requires adhering to the basic principles of "three basics" (basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills), "five natures" (ideological, scientific, advanced, enlightening and applicable) and "three concreteness" (specific objects, specific requirements and specific restrictions), paying attention to the relationship between inheritance and innovation, tradition and modernity, theory and practice, and Chinese medicine and western medicine, and striving to be theoretical.
