Liwan District Library, founded in 1986, is a national comprehensive public library integrating reading and learning, information exchange, exhibitions and lectures, and digital network services. It is an important document information resource center and cultural window in Liwan area.
Liwan District Library has more than 600,000 books, and implements open-shelf lending service. The library has many service windows, such as adult lending room, children lending room, newspaper reading room and local literature room, which are all managed automatically by computers. 3. Jinhua Street Branch of Guangzhou Library
Guangzhou Library Jinhua Street Union Library, located at the Cultural Station, No.95 Jinhua Street, Liwan District, opened in February 2002, with an area of about 200 square meters, a collection of books 1 1872, and a full-time librarian. The opening hours are 40 hours per week.

4. Liwan Lake Branch of Guangzhou Library
Liwan Lake Branch is located on the first floor of the beautiful Liwan Lake Park Liwan District Women and Children Activity Center, with a construction area of about 709 square meters. The space design shows a strong Xiguan style, wooden hollowed-out Chinese windows and arcade modeling with Xiguan characteristics. The functional layout mainly includes literature library area, social science library area, natural science library area, youth library area, parent-child picture book library area and so on. The readers' activity area will adopt various forms such as exhibitions, story meetings and salons. Choose about 20,000 books on children, literature, economy, leisure, health and health care as the basic collection. V Guangzhou Children's Library (Shamian Branch)
Guangzhou Children's Library (Shamian Branch) officially opened on August 8, 2003. This is the first branch library established in the community following the service concept of "culture enters the community and books are sent to the grassroots". Since 1997, Guangzhou Children's Library has set up branches in Guangzhou Children's Activity Center, Huadu, Conghua, Zengcheng and other districts and cities to meet the reading needs of local children to the greatest extent. In 2002 alone, it received more than 290,000 readers and borrowed 200,000 books. The first phase of Shamian Branch Library provides more than 1,000 books 10000, and 3,000 new books will be added every year.
