Reflections on Reading Learn to Eat

In this day when the air is full of love, everyone who is loved and loved is happy in spirit. Appreciate love and being loved. Only by loving yourself first can we love the world better, and love it with temperature. And I, a layman, come to share this book "Learn to Eat" with you on this day that everyone loves. I hope that every life in this world will enjoy a spiritual feast and the food of life, so that our lives will be lively and agile.

This book, Learn to Eat, comes from Jane Christele and Ai Lisha Bowman. I read it occasionally when I was in Fan Deng, and I was curious. After listening to it, I fell in love with it. After all, eating is too closely related to life, and three meals a day is a fixed lesson. As the mother of the child, I am particularly concerned about this matter, but unfortunately I am not good at cooking. I am always worried that children will not eat well and affect their health. After reading this book, I feel much more relaxed. For food,

* * * This book has two parts and fourteen chapters, with a lot of content. The first part is eating, not so simple; The second part is eating good practices.

What has influenced me the most is the following:

First of all, the mindfulness diet in the first part has made a new breakthrough in my habitual view of food. After becoming a mother, I often like to study food, which food is healthy, which food is unhealthy, which fried food is bad, and miscellaneous grains are good things. All kinds of information are pouring in on the Internet and in reality. Children should eat this, not that. Sometimes, I'm really confused, so what to eat, how to eat, what to eat, these problems often bother me.

Besides, I often feel sorry for eating food that looks unhealthy. Children are often worried because they eat ice cream, cones, candy and so on. What if their teeth are broken and their stomachs get cold?

In fact, this book tells us that food can be good or bad. We should try our best to make friends with food, and feel the moment, pleasure and joy of enjoying food while eating, not other emotions. Not to mention eating and regretting, how is this divided?

I like eating noodles since I was a child, but now many people say that pasta has high sugar content, so I often think while eating noodles, what should I do if I have diabetes?

After reading this book, when I eat noodles now, I really thank this noodle. Just eat until I'm seven points full, so I won't eat. I enjoy my favorite food and have no burden on my health.

Now we can learn to treat food with mindfulness, focus on the inner world and the outer world without criticism, and accept food completely without judgment. Understand the needs of your body, accept the nourishment that food gives us, and eat according to the real needs of your body.

The second part of the book is about eating good practices. First of all, of course, we should know our eating patterns, try to change our unreasonable eating patterns, learn to judge whether we are really hungry and really enjoy the pleasure brought by delicious food. First of all, feel the feeling of hunger, feel how much the body needs when eating, and feel the fullness of the stomach. Don't eat because of habit, pressure, etc.

During the meal, try all kinds of food to practice. Find a stable sitting position, close your eyes, take a deep breath, calm down, sit quietly, and after a few seconds, open your eyes and look at the food to see what you notice. What is this food like and what does it smell like? Then gently pick it up and put it in your mouth, feel chewing and experience the food. After eating food, what is your consciousness, what flavor you left behind, how you feel after eating, and so on. Be aware of your feelings. Instead of wolfing it down for food.

In addition, we should learn to explore the kitchen, understand the calories of food, and choose the right food and the right amount of food according to our physical needs.

Healthy eating is flexible, not persistent, not too persistent. Fully enjoy every bite of food, establish a link with food with mindfulness and meditation, live on the road of healing more consciously, eat better, and become a gourmet.

On this beautiful day, may we all learn to feel beautiful. Let's start from eating, make every meal and every food spiritual, connect with our bodies, feel life in the agility of loving and being loved, enjoy the present and experience every present state. May our hearts tend to be peaceful, kind and gentle, and we will always be grateful for every gift, eat happily and live happily.
