Fiberglass-polyester paving mat is a new type of composite geosynthetics developed after geotextile, geogrid and belt polymer, which has good compatibility with asphalt mixture. Engineering practice shows that the glass fiber grating does not have waterproof function, and it can be embedded with asphalt mixture, but it is difficult to fix in use and easy to expand and resist adhesion, which affects the normal paving and reinforcement of asphalt mixture. Geotextile can prevent underwater leakage, but when the paving temperature of hot asphalt mixture exceeds 160℃, its strength and creep resistance are poor, and it cannot play the role of reinforcement and crack resistance. Glass fiber polyester paving mat overcomes the shortcomings of both. It can effectively deal with pavement cracks and bridge deck and pavement water damage.
