Ni was born in Taiwan Province Province, China, and his ancestral home is Ruian, Zhejiang. He is an American doctor of traditional Chinese medicine. He founded the Han and Tang Chinese Medicine Clinic in America. He used to be a doctoral supervisor at California University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and dean of Hantang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the United States. Because of the strong criticism of febrile diseases and western medicine, some disputes have arisen.
Ni became attached to Chinese medicine because her second sister had dysmenorrhea. At that time, people were more conservative, and girls were generally embarrassed to see a doctor because of dysmenorrhea, so they could only endure it silently.
Ni had a deep affection for the second sister and couldn't bear her pain, so she bought a copy of "Medical Zong Jin Jian" to study, hoping to help her cure dysmenorrhea. In the next six months, Ni devoted herself to the study of gynecology, and then prescribed medicine for her sister according to her own understanding. Miraculously, she cured her sister of dysmenorrhea for many years and never committed it again.
