Tea trees are not grown in Tibet. Why do people have the habit of drinking tea?
Tibetans like drinking tea very much, and tea is a very important part of their lives. There is also a legend that Tibetans attach so much importance to tea. It is said that many years ago, a Tibetan leader was in poor health and felt listless every day. It's the same when I grow up, and nothing has changed.

The leader meditates outside the door every day. One day, he felt thirsty after reading the scripture, so he asked his maid to boil water for her to drink. When the maid brought water, a bird accidentally fell into the cup with a leaf in its mouth. When the leader saw it, he didn't blame the maid, but felt that his sincerity touched God.

This bird was sent by God, and this leaf is different. The leader drank the water soaked in the leaves and ate them. Unexpectedly, I found this leaf very refreshing, so I sent people everywhere to look for it.

The dispatcher found this kind of leaf in the Central Plains and brought back a large bundle. Leaders use this kind of leaves to boil water and drink it every day. After drinking it for a while, the body is really getting better. The leader knew that it was a unique leaf, so he began to promote it and let everyone in the tribe drink it. This is why Tibetans drink tea.

Later generations found that Tibet has a unique position. It is cold and dry all the year round, and there is no oxygen. In such a living environment, the daily diet of Tibetans is indeed very different from that of the Central Plains. Their daily intake of vitamins is relatively small, and tea is rich in vitamins.

Drinking more tea at ordinary times can supplement the nutrients needed by the body. Tea also has the effects of clearing away heat, reducing fire and diuresis, and is also very effective for Tibetans. Because their daily diet is mainly meat, eating too much fat is not good for their health.

Later, Tibetan people fell in love with drinking tea, and tea became an indispensable part of their daily diet. However, Tibetans like to drink milk tea.
