Can cement concrete pavement be poured immediately after the construction of lime-fly ash macadam at the pavement base?
At present, there are two views on the formation and maintenance of lime-fly ash macadam (considering layered construction):

1. After the lower base is rolled and formed, it will be spread and rolled on the upper base immediately, and then it will be maintained. This view holds that interlayer bonding is better;

2. After the lower base is rolled and formed, it will be cured for 20 days, and then it will be spread and rolled on the upper base. This view holds that the layered curing molding effect is better.

Personally, I think cement concrete pavement can be poured immediately after the construction of lime-fly ash macadam at the pavement base. The reason for this is the following:

1, if the concrete is poured by a pump truck, it will not cause too much damage to the three slags, considering that the construction vehicle does not go through the three slags without maintenance;

2. Most of the concrete is cast-in-place concrete, which has low requirements for the strength of the lower bearing layer;

3. Cement is a hydraulic material, and the water not volatilized in time in the three slag has no effect on concrete;

4. If this scheme is adopted, it is suggested that the curing time of concrete molding should be controlled according to the curing time of three slag molding. That is, the curing time of concrete should be appropriately extended to ensure that the three wastes have basically hardened when it is opened to traffic.
