Changbai Mountain area in the south of Zouping is a mountainous and hilly area, and it is an important forest and fruit producing area. Zouping Mercury, Li Shen Grape, Changshan Yam, Toona sinensis with red buds and Venus Crataegus have long enjoyed a good reputation and are exported to all directions. The proven mineral resources are copper, gold, silver, molybdenum, sulfur, granite, medical stone, mineral water, natural gas and petroleum. In particular, there are huge reserves of copper, gold, mineral water and granite. Tourism resources, building materials resources and Chinese herbal medicine resources are abundant. The Mid-Levels is a national forest park, and Huangshan Mountain, Gong Fan Temple, Wangbao Uprising Site and Liquan Temple attract many tourists. The north-central part is the alluvial plain of the Yellow River, with fertile soil and criss-crossing major rivers such as the Yellow River, Xiaoqing River and Fuxiaohe. Supporting water conservancy projects have always been a concentrated grain and cotton producing area and an important national quality.
Zouping has many natural landscapes. It is said that Huangshan Mountain, named after yellow mud, is located in the southern suburbs of Zouping and has its own characteristics. Its mountain is shaped like a tiger, also known as Tiger Head Cliff. The mountain is not high, only168.4m above sea level. However, it is famous for its ancient temples, including the Jade Emperor Temple in Xiling and the Locust-catching Temple in Dongling.
Hebian Mountain is located at the junction of zouping county, zouping county and Zhangqiu City, belonging to Changbai Mountain Range and Baiyun Mountain System. The terrain is complex and changeable, the mountains are high and steep, the valleys are winding and narrow, and there are many cliffs. It is a national forest park approved by the Ministry of Forestry and was established in September. 1992. The park belongs to the northern temperate continental climate zone with four distinct seasons.
