Seven bowls of tea poems
Tanglutong
One bowl moistens the throat, and the other two bowls are lonely.
Three bowls of heartbroken, only five thousand volumes of words.
Four bowls of sweat, life is not smooth, scattered to the pores.
Five bowls of bones and muscles are clear, and six bowls are immortal.
I can't eat seven bowls, but I feel the wind blowing under my arm.
Translation of works
Drink a bowl to moisten lips and throat;
Two bowls of food broke the loneliness and boredom;
After drinking three bowls, I searched for chapters and sentences, only remembering five thousand volumes of words;
After drinking four bowls, I sweated slightly, and all the grievances of my life experience spread to the pores of my whole body;
After drinking five bowls, I feel refreshed all over my body.
After eating six bowls of rice, I felt like I was on cloud nine and reached the realm of God.
I can't eat seven bowls, but I feel the breeze blowing slowly under my arm.
Introduction of works
Seven Bowls of Tea is the key part of Lu Tong's seven-character ancient poem Writing Xie Meng Persuading New Tea when he lived in seclusion in Shaoshi Mountain, tea fairy Valley Tea Fairy Spring. He wrote the wonderful artistic conception of drinking new tea, which was widely praised.
Creation background
There are fifty-five eye springs in Qinyuan Scenic Area of Henan Province. Peach Blossom Island in the West Lake is surrounded by water and hundreds of bamboos. There is a spring under the island, which gushes out from the side of the arch bridge entering the island and rises several feet high and falls into the Quanzu River. Its water quality is clear and sweet, and it used to be called Peach Blossom Garden.
Qinyuan in the middle Tang Dynasty has become a leisure place and cultural center for bureaucrats and literati in Hedong, Henan and Hanoi.
Lu Tong, (about 795-835) Yuchuanzi, who lives in Li Si Village, Jiyuan, Hanoi, is a direct descendant of Lu, one of the "four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty". Although he was born in a noble family, his family is very poor. He was withdrawn, honest and frank, indifferent to fame and fortune, especially disgusted with the ugliness of officialdom. He did not enter scientific research, lived in seclusion in Shan Ye and studied hard. Not seduced by high officials, he refused his career and became famous for poor Geng Jie. Hearing about Lu Tong's talent, the imperial court twice asked him to be an admonition officer (five official posts), but he hated the autocratic power of the imperial eunuch, despised the dirty officialdom and refused to accept orders. As he said in the poem "Winter", "I don't know the emperor in the world, but I don't know the princes in the world." (Complete Tang Poetry, Volume 588, Poems of Lu Tong). In particular, Han Yu loved Lutong's talent and noble moral integrity, and helped Lutong from time to time in Henan. Therefore, Lu Tong made friends with Han Yu, Zhang Ji, Meng Jiao and Jia Dao all his life, and became an important figure of Han Meng's poetry school in Tang Dynasty, and then became the "tea fairy" of China.
Qinyuan is located in Xu Liang Town and Shanwangzhuang Town of Bo 'ai County, Qinyang City to wulongkou Town and Jiuligou of Jiyuan City, with a total length of more than 30 kilometers. It is the most beautiful and story-telling scenic spot at the foot of South Taihang Mountain. Lutong, who is dissatisfied with the times but afraid of himself, often invites friends to visit and drink in this area. Therefore, the Lutong tea table in Jiuligou remains the same, and the stories of "Han Tea", "Luquan" and "Seven Bowls of Tea Songs" in Qinyuan have been passed down to this day.
In the fourth year of Tang Yuanhe, Han Yu, who lived in Mengzhou, Hanoi, and Lu Tong, who lived in Jiyuan, Hanoi, lived in Qinyuan, Hanoi. They sat with geisha drinking, singing children's songs and dancing for a while, and then asked the maid to bring tea. In the Tang Dynasty, people in Hanoi only drank local chrysanthemum tea and Dongling tea. Although Lu Tong is also a native of Hanoi, he is "tea fairy" after all, and both Longjing and Maojian are used. Therefore, although chrysanthemum tea is pure and sweet, it lacks the beauty of bitterness, so it is greatly unhappy. Han Yu is a frequent visitor to move bamboo here. He knows bamboo plants very well, so he took Lutong to the bamboo forest to pick some bamboo skewers and suggested that he make tea and try it. As a result, the bamboo stick didn't bubble out, and the brewed tea was bitter and not fragrant enough. Lu Tong is very upset. Moments later, Lutong suddenly suggested going out to see the spring. Han Yu didn't understand what it meant and followed. Every spring, I saw Lu Tong holding water to drink. As a result, after watching the spring at the age of 55, his stomach was bulging, which made Han Yu laugh. Later, Lutong asked the maid to fill the peach blossom spring water and cook it again for Han Yu to drink. After Han Yu tasted it, she suddenly understood what it meant. He said: "Sweet and sour, elegant and elegant, unique taste, good tea, good tea!" " It turns out that the pharmacology of bamboo sticks is to promote fluid production and blood circulation, clear away heat and fire, moisten the lungs and detoxify. Coupled with the sweetness of Taohuayuan and the medicinal reaction of mineral components, bamboo skewer tea becomes soft, clear the heart, benefit the spleen and nourish the heart, which is indeed a good drink.
In the later days, Han and Lu often invited friends such as Meng Jiao and Jia Dao to the Peach Blossom Spring for a banquet, writing songs and reciting poems, leaving many anecdotes and poems.
In the sixth year of Tang Yuanhe, Lu Tong received tea from his good friend and advice doctor Meng Jian, and invited Han Yu, Jia Dao and others to the Peach Blossom Spring in brew tea, so there was the famous Seven Bowls of Tea Songs. Lu Tong's tea songs express the feeling of drinking tea, not only the appetite, but also the pharmacology and efficacy of "bamboo string tea", which awakens the soul, benefits the body, purifies the soul, stimulates literary thinking, condenses everything and creates a wonderful realm.
