The school was founded on 1995. 1999, Shandong Wanjie Medical College was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2008, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college-Shandong Wanjie Medical College, and was renamed Qilu Medical College on 20 15. The school consists of Zhoucun Campus and Boshan Campus, with a total campus area of 2,052 mu and a total construction area of 620,000 square meters.
