1935 13 In September, Chiang Kai-shek set up the Northwest Anti-Bandits General Command in Xi 'an, with Zhang Xueliang as the deputy commander. Immediately, Zhang Xueliang moved from Hankou to Xi 'an, rented Feng Qinzai's house at No.5 Jinjiaxiang, which was just completed by Northwest Tongji Trust Company, and renamed it General Zhang Xueliang's official residence. The mansion consists of three three-story brick-wood Western-style buildings, with four weeks of bricks. The gate is in the north wall, the office building is in the east building, the living room and conference room are in the middle building, and Zhang Xueliang's bedroom is in the west building. From1September 1935 to1February 25, 1936, Zhang Xueliang, his wife Yu Fengzhi, his secretary Miss Zhao Yidi and his son Zhang Lvlin lived here. The brewing, planning, occurrence and peaceful settlement of Xi 'an incident were also carried out here.

1936+February 1 1 Sunday evening, Zhang Xueliang convened a meeting with senior generals of Northeast Army Wang Yizhe, Dong Yingbin and Li Tiancai in the conference room on the second floor of the West Building (Building C) where Zhang Xueliang and his family lived and worked privately. He announced that he would give Chiang a military lecture the next day, arrange strategic deployment, and draft eight anti-Japanese propositions. On February 23-24, 65438, the Nanjing government, the China delegation and JASON ZHANG held tripartite talks again, forcing Chiang Kai-shek to accept six agreements, stop the civil war, unite with * * * to resist Japan and peacefully resolve the Xi Incident.
