Bazhong City, also known as Bacheng, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province. Located in the northeast of Sichuan Basin, at the southern foot of Micang Mountain in Daba Mountain, south of the dividing line between Qinling Mountains and Huaihe River in China, east of Dazhou, south of Nanchong, west of Guangyuan and north of Hanzhong in Shaanxi. It is a typical mountainous area around the basin, with high terrain in the north and low terrain in the south, and inclines from north to south.
