When will the China Flower Expo start? The 10th China Flower Expo will be held in Dongping National Forest Park and its surrounding areas from May 2/KLOC-0 to July 2. On March 24th, as a warm-up for the Expo, the first 58-day Chongming Flower Show was held in Huabo South Park (Dongping National Forest Park).
Focusing on the theme of "Blooming the Chinese Dream", Huabo South Garden performed the artistic conception of "Fragrant Forest-Happy Life Every Day", and based on Dongping National Forest Park, through landscape upgrading and transformation, created a landscape of "one stream with many gardens and hundreds of cherry blossoms and thousands of forests". We will make every effort to build a "Butchart-style" forest flower garden with mellow ecological background, fresh natural culture, comfortable and healthy environment, elegant humanistic quality, clean and low-carbon energy, friendly service facilities and unique and exquisite landscape that matches the world-class ecological island, so as to present visitors with the unique interest of enjoying flowers in the island, countryside and forest, and feel the charming sea of flowers in advance before the official opening of the flower fair.
Chongming Huabo South Park Play Raiders Aromatic Scenic Area
Entering from Huabo South Park 1 Gate, the first thing you see is the Champs Elysees, which is composed of Metasequoia East-West Road and Huaxi overlapping water landscape. Tulips are planted on both sides of the road, and violets are dotted at the bottom, forming a sea of flowers.
The scenic spot relies on Metasequoia glyptostroboides forest as the base to create a bright spot of all flowers. In front of the entrance, there is a sketch of the landscape of Huaxi overlapping water. The steps are strewn at random, and the flowing water is crisp and pleasant, which is in harmony with the island tulips floating on both sides. The flowers are arranged in strips and patches, and the forest provides a space for tourists to stay, which is a good place to take pictures and punch in.
Kilometers Culture Wisteria Corridor
Follow the westward journey to Xiangjiang Scenic Area and come to the 1000m cultural wisteria promenade, with a total length of1000m, and 380 wisteria plants on both sides are personally built by the famous wisteria gardener Wang Lin. Wisteria varieties such as Bear Leaf, Jiuchi, Bawangsi and Matsumoto are used alternately, and arranged into segments in various spikes, forming a double-layer falling flower sea.
At present, because the wisteria season has not yet arrived and the purple flower border has not yet appeared, the garden has arranged a large-scale flower ball fish gallery, with tulips and February orchids on both sides, which is equally beautiful.
Bai Yinglin
In the southwest of Wisteria Gallery, a hundred acres of cherry blossoms, hundreds of kinds of cherry blossoms and cherry blossom viewing by waterway are the highlights to create a hundred acres of cherry blossom forest. More than 500 cherry blossoms/kloc-0 plants were planted by sticking, row planting, cluster planting and point planting, providing tourists with a variety of different themes such as cherry blossom road, cherry blossom waterfront and cherry blossom slope.
Water plank road
In the northeast of Wisteria Gallery and around Metasequoia Lake, Jinhu Tiandi (forest management service center) and Fairy Tale Kingdom (children's play area) were newly built and rebuilt, and a sunken water plank road was built in the lake, extending to the glass plank road in the lake, partially decorated with a large area of acrylic plexiglass. Visitors can watch aquatic plants and plankton at close range on the glass plank road (the effect of aquatic plants will be better in early May).
Dongping National Forest Park Dongping National Forest Park is located in the middle of Chongming Island, far away from the hustle and bustle of the urban area, with beautiful environment and rich wild interest. This is a good place to spend the summer. There are all kinds of entertainment facilities and experience projects here.
