The results showed that after eating Korean food, the concentration of total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and fasting blood glucose in the blood of the subjects decreased, which was higher than that after eating American recommended diet and American general diet. On the whole, after only eating Korean food for 25 days, the total cholesterol content of human body decreased by 15.78mg/dl on average, which was greater than that of only eating recommended American diet (decreased by 13.43 mg/dl) and general American diet (decreased by 3.23 mg/dl).

In addition, the low-density lipoprotein cholesterol content measured after eating only Korean food decreased by 9.65438 0% on average, which was also higher than that after eating only the recommended American diet (decreased by 5.5%). At the same time, the fasting blood glucose concentration after eating only Korean food decreased by 3.5%, which was also higher than that after eating only the recommended American diet.

Korean food provided in clinical trials includes rice, soup, pickles, vegetables, porridge, pickled food, and Korean bibimbap and barbecue, which are popular among foreigners. Researchers say that Korean food contains balanced nutrients, which can reduce cholesterol and blood sugar concentration. All kinds of vegetables, fermented foods and whole grains are helpful to prevent and treat chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases and diabetes.
