What are the seven emotions referred to by TCM? What is the relationship between its corresponding viscera and five elements? Seek a detailed explanation
Seven emotions refer to seven kinds of emotional changes of people, including joy, anger, worry, thinking, sadness, fear and shock, which can be summarized as five emotions of joy, anger, worry, thinking and fear and matched with the five internal organs. The theory of seven emotions is an important theoretical component of TCM etiology and pathogenesis, and also a basic component of modern TCM psychology. As early as Neijing, Yin and Yang should be like a big theory, which said: "There are four seasons and five elements growing and gathering in the sky, resulting in cold and heat and dry and humid winds. People have five internal organs transforming into five qi, resulting in emotions, troubles and fears. Therefore, anger hurts the qi, and cold and heat hurt the shape. This is the earliest record of five qi causing diseases. Later, in the Song Dynasty, Chen Wuxuan added sadness and surprise to the five qi, which became seven emotions. Seven emotions are the external manifestations of the functional activities of human viscera, which are closely related to the five internal organs. They are of great significance for maintaining normal physiological functions of human body and preventing the occurrence and development of diseases.

The seven emotions are unique to human beings in the earth's biosphere. Man is a very complicated organism, and he is the soul of all things in the universe. In the process of evolution, human beings constantly know themselves and improve themselves. In the struggle against diseases, human beings have realized that the human body itself is a natural drug warehouse. In Compendium of Materia Medica, the fifty-second volume of the Ministry of Human Resources records that nearly thirty kinds of human substances are used as medicines. In the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, seven emotions are mainly interpreted as seven evils (referring to excessive seven emotions), which actually have the function of treating diseases. Here, I will focus on another self-medication system in the human body-seven emotions. Normal activities of the seven emotions do not affect human health, but can regulate the human body's own balance. Too much or too little will lead to emotional changes, cause various psychosomatic diseases, damage its surplus and make up its deficiency, and play a role in preventing and treating diseases, so that some people now put forward that "the best doctor is himself." Seven emotions are like medicine, if used too much, it will harm people, and if used well, it will benefit people. The seven emotions will be elaborated separately later.

happy

Happiness is the first of the seven emotions, and the heart is the first of the five internal organs. The seven emotions have their own causes and are closely related to the heart. The heart is the official of the monarch and the master of spiritual activities. In addition to being too excited and too sad, anger, worry, thinking, sadness, fear and shock will all hurt the heart, the heart will be damaged, and other organs will also have an impact. There is a cloud in Chinese medicine: "The main body is unknown, and the twelve officials are in danger."

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the mind governs the gods and is closely related to people's spirit, consciousness and thinking activities. Happiness can relieve the tension under normal circumstances, make the mood comfortable and the blood peaceful, so it is called "slow happiness". However, excessive joy can damage the mind and lead to heart diseases, such as fatigue, sweating, chest tightness, palpitations, insomnia, inattention, and even insanity, incoherent speech, impermanence in laughter, abnormal behavior and so on. Many modern diseases, such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, obesity, stroke and some mental diseases, are related to excessive euphoria, especially among middle-aged and elderly people. In the five elements, the heart belongs to fire, and water can overcome fire, which shows that happiness and sadness (including the brain function of traditional Chinese medicine) and fear are greater than joy, that is to say, appropriate fear can restrict the pathological changes caused by excessive joy.

Modern medicine believes that excessive joy is a strong stimulus. After the brain is stimulated by this, the sympathetic nerve is excited, releasing a lot of adrenaline, the heart rate is accelerated, the blood pressure is increased, the breathing is accelerated, and the body temperature is raised. If it exceeds people's adaptability, it will cause physical disorder.

In the first case, Yu, a medical scientist in the Qing Dynasty, recorded in Moral Grass: "Once upon a time, there was a new wealth, and immediately he was complacent and died with a smile."

Case 2: Recently, comedians Ma Ji and Hou He both died of acute myocardial infarction.

In the third case, we all know that there is such a story in The Scholars: Jin Fan took an example from small to large, I don't know how many times he took the exam, but he never got in. Living in poverty, he was looked down upon, especially his father-in-law was very cruel to him, and Jin Fan was very afraid of him. Jin Fan won the prize in his later years, but he was "mixed with joy and sorrow". He was insane and his joy turned into sadness. Later, someone told him that fear is better than joy, and suggested that he intimidate people who are usually afraid before he can lift his fear. His father-in-law severely reprimanded: "Damn beast, what did you win?" ? That report is a lie. "A slap in the face woke Jin Fan up, and his madness won't be a problem.

Case 4: Xu Lingzhi, a famous doctor in Qing Dynasty, was the champion of New China, and he also adopted the method of conquering happiness with fear. Xu said to him, "If you are ill, you will die in seven days." The champion was frightened, calmed down, and his excessive joy was neutralized and freed. He recovered after only seven days of illness.

In the above cases, Ma Ji, Hou, and other celebrities all lived a comfortable life and were carefree. If they are treated by psychologists, they may be allowed to become doctors, explorers and funeral workers, so I'm afraid they won't die young that year.

angry

Anger is the ambition of the liver, as opposed to happiness. Chinese medicine believes that the liver governs excretion and regulates people's spirit and mood; Love articles and hate depression. The liver is dirty and easy to get angry. Anger is a manifestation that people's desires and needs are suppressed and the fire of repression is vented outward. Under certain circumstances, a little anger can produce a certain sense of pleasure, which is conducive to the smooth flow of qi in the liver and gallbladder, so that the human body can better coordinate its own spiritual and emotional activities and achieve the peace of qi and blood. When people are angry, they will be unable to vent their anger, which is easy to appear: withdrawn and unhappy, depressed and unhappy, sentimental, breathless, and in severe cases insane. If you are too furious, you will have dizziness, headache, redness and fainting (referring to the symptoms of hyperactivity of yang due to mental stimulation, qi and blood moving against qi, resulting in blood stagnation in your head and sudden fainting). So get angry when you should, just don't go too far.

Modern medicine believes that when people are depressed, their immunity declines and they are prone to get sick. Fury and depression can cause abnormal adrenaline secretion and damage the liver, thus inducing liver disease or aggravating the original liver disease. Emotional depression causes blood stasis, which affects the regeneration of hepatocytes and the metabolic ability of the liver, and is not conducive to the recovery of liver disease. This also verifies the theory that anger hurts the liver in traditional Chinese medicine.

Among the five elements, the liver belongs to wood, and wood can overcome soil. Anger hurts the liver, and grief is better than anger, which means that appropriate sadness can restrict the pathological changes caused by excessive anger.

Case 1: Zhou Yu's story in The Three Kingdoms is a household name. Breathe Zhou Yu: After Battle of Red Cliffs, the next year, Zhou Yu went to capture Jingzhou, and Zhuge Liang took it first. Zhou Yu: Zhou Yu wants to marry Sun Quan's sister to Liu Bei, detain Liu Bei and force Zhuge Liang to hand over Jingzhou. Unexpectedly, Zhuge Liang used a trick to make Zhou Yu "lose his wife and lose his soldiers." Three Yu: Zhou Yu begged Liu Bei to repay Jingzhou's shortcomings, and led the troops to attack without success. Zhou Yu was angry and sighed, "Since it is bright, why should it be born?" He vomited blood and died. According to this story, Zhuge Liang knew that Zhou Yu was narrow-minded, and he was angered by three kinds of qi with one stroke and two styles. He was furious and hurt his liver, and his liver gas sprayed blood. If something sad happened to Zhou Yu's family at this time, maybe Zhou Yu wouldn't have left early.

In the second case, during the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, it was said that Emperor Wu's wet nurse broke the law outside the palace. Emperor Wu tried to deal with her in a rage, and the wet nurse turned to Dong Fangshuo for help. Dong Fangshuo said, "This is not an argument between lips. If you want to be rescued, just keep looking back at Emperor Wu and don't say anything when you are about to be arrested. There may be a glimmer of hope for this. " When the wet nurse came to the Emperor Wu, Dong Fangshuo sat next to her, so Dong Fangshuo said to the wet nurse, "You are so stupid. Now that the emperor has grown up, where are you going to feed him with your milk? " Hearing this, Emperor Wu's face became mournful and he immediately pardoned the wet nurse. This is a story of suppressing anger with sorrow, or the wet nurse of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty will die. Therefore, both Zhang Zi and The Scholars have: "Sorrow can cure anger, and it is felt by words of sorrow."

The third situation is recorded in Mo Xin, a miscellaneous syndrome in Volume 36 of Jingyue Quanshu: for example, Yanji died of illness and fainted due to anger, delayed treatment, and later claimed that his life was in danger, pretending that he needed moxibustion to cure it. Yanji knows that moxibustion can not only cause pain, but also damage the skin on the face or other parts of the body. So, then turn to sadness, sadness is the elimination of qi, and the anger in the chest will be resolved. In this way, anger is restrained and the diseases caused by anger are eliminated. Zhang Jingyue also warned the doctor: "If you encounter this kind, you must add detailed tests."

As can be seen from the above cases, excessive anger will lead to disorder of human qi, first damaging the liver, then the internal organs, losing coordination and unity, poor blood circulation, blood stasis and many diseases. Treat this kind of disease, mobilize the self-regulation function (self-medication system) in the body, and control anger with grief, so as to achieve the effect of self-healing without medicine.

worry

Worry is the ambition of the lungs, the sadness of the lungs, and the depression of qi. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that lung governs qi, and excessive sadness will lead to stagnation of lung qi. Clinically, there are symptoms such as shortness of breath, deep voice, shortness of breath, cough, chest tightness and heavy breathing. But it often hurts the spleen and causes loss of appetite. Excessive sadness consumes lung qi. Depression makes people depressed, depressed, and may also cause symptoms such as pallor, sighing and swallowing, and listlessness. Among the five elements, the lung belongs to gold, fire can overcome gold, and lung sorrow overcomes worry. Anxiety leads to stagnation of qi, while happiness leads to relaxation of pulse, which means that proper celebration can limit the pathological changes caused by excessive anxiety.

In case one, we are all familiar with the story of "a glass of bow and snake shadow". Legend has it that one day, Leguang gave a banquet to entertain guests, and the hall was full of joy. Guess boxing, drinking and having fun. A guest was drinking and accidentally caught a glimpse of a small snake swimming in the glass, but because of the feelings of many guests, he bravely drank the wine. Since then, he has been worried, always feeling that there is a snake crawling in his stomach, full of doubts all day, nausea, and finally bedridden. Later, after being pointed out, his doubts were opened, the stone in his heart was removed, and his illness was cured. Although this disease does not eliminate the disease with happiness, it also shows that excessive depression has induced the disease.

Case 2: Zhang's medical case of Confucianism worrying about relatives: Xicheng secretary heard that his father died at the hands of thieves and wept bitterly. After that, I felt pain in my heart, and it hurt every day. A month later, I felt like a cup. I couldn't help it. All drugs are useless, so it is recommended to wash moxa with burning needles. What patients hate is wearing people. Wear people's clothes, adapt witchcraft to their side, learn witchcraft, talk with wild people to tease, laugh at illness, and back to the wall. On the first day or the second day, my husband and I separated. Dai Renri: "Worry in Neijing means anger, and happiness means peace of mind." It is also said that "happiness wins sorrow" has its own methods. Zhang treated diseases caused by sadness by making patients happy, and achieved good results. Zhang believes that if acupuncture is used for treatment, it will add pain to the patient's painful mood, so it is not desirable. It can be seen that China's ancient method of emotional victory has a certain effect on obvious organic diseases.

Case 3: I witnessed a medical mistake in the radiology department when I went to a hospital in a city for further study. One day, two patients came to the radiology department for chest X-rays at the same time. The doctor finished the examination for both patients and sent the report to take away. The next day, when the doctor went to work to clean up the film, he found that yesterday's two reports were wrong. The patient with pulmonary tuberculosis was diagnosed as "clearing lung" and the patient with clearing lung was diagnosed as "tuberculosis". Three months later, the two patients came back for examination. The doctor was surprised to find that the patient with tuberculosis disappeared, while the patient with clear lungs was infected with tuberculosis. It seems that tuberculosis patients are very happy to get the report of "clearing the lungs" and naturally recovered; Patients who didn't get tuberculosis were very sad and depressed when they got the diagnosis result of "tuberculosis", which hurt their lungs. This fully verified the conclusion that "happiness wins sorrow, and sorrow lies in the lungs".

Nowadays, the social competition is fierce, and people often encounter career frustration, unsatisfactory work, economic troubles, family conflicts, the pain of disability, the blow of unexpected events and so on. , will lead to depression and desolation, resulting in many psychological diseases. Modern psychology believes that excessive sadness will accelerate the mourning for the elderly, and people with weak will, especially the elderly, are prone to mental disorders and commit suicide. When treating such diseases and syndromes, Chinese medicine often achieves good results by treating emotions and preventing tragedies.

think

Thinking is the ambition of the spleen, thinking hurts the spleen, and thinking causes qi stagnation. Chinese medicine believes that "thinking originates from the spleen and becomes the heart". Normal thinking does not affect the normal physiological activities of the human body. But overthinking not only consumes sadness, but also affects the dysfunction of spleen transport and transformation. Excessive thinking will lead to stagnation of qi in the middle energizer, stagnation of temper, stagnation of qi in the middle energizer, and Shui Gu will not lift it, but his stomach will stagnate, his abdomen will be full, he will have abdominal distension and loose stool, and even his muscles will be emaciated. Sadness weakens the heart and leads to mental dystrophy, which is manifested as palpitation, insomnia, forgetfulness, dreaminess and other symptoms.

In the five elements, the spleen belongs to soil, and the wood is like soil. Thinking hurts the spleen, and anger overcomes thinking. Thinking leads to qi stagnation, while anger leads to qi stagnation, which means that appropriate anger can restrict the pathological changes caused by excessive thinking.

Case 1: Records of the Historian records that Hua Tuo treated the Taishou: The Taishou was seriously ill and died, and his family invited Hua Tuo, who asked for a large sum of money after diagnosis. The Taishou family had no choice but to pay a lot of money, but Hua Tuo put it off again and again, and finally left without saying goodbye, leaving a letter to scold the Taishou. The satrap was furious and immediately sent someone to kill Hua Tuo. The son of the satrap knew Hua Tuo's intention and secretly told his family not to arrest Hua Tuo. The satrap was even more angry when he heard that Hua Tuo couldn't catch it. In a rage, he vomited some black blood. I didn't want to throw up at first, but I got better later. This story has far-reaching influence in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, and it is a typical medical case of treating spleen with anger.

In the second case, there is a story in the note novel "Xie Duo" in the Qing Dynasty, which is about two wonderful doctors: Pan Wan, an alligator, beautiful and handsome, whose goal is a symmetrical tree. His wife, Yin, is gorgeous and jealous. Pan Jin glued the rope to the boudoir. Pan has a villa. In Lianxi Square, there are several begonia plants in front of the court. Whenever ... flowers are released, put them back to help make up. The length and density are suitable. Yin tried to hold a flower and said with a smile, this is also a solution to the flower, and the old green hand is folded to benefit the charm of Bin. So Haitang is called Huaqing, which is a play in Pan Rihua's empire. After Pan died of illness, Yin wept bitterly. After a day in the villa, Haitang was in full bloom, and Yin leaned against the fence, homesick, suddenly lost, and went home sick. Yin Youzu's brother is famous for his wisdom and is good at painting. Hearing this, he said, this heart disease is the same. I want to treat it with heart medicine. He wrote dozens of begonia, which looked like Pan's head, and drew five or six enchantresses, some picking flowers, some smelling flowers, some holding flowers, some begging Pan Sheng to put them on his temples, some kneeling, and some throwing petals at each other. After painting, I bowed my head and asked about my sister's recent situation. Yin shed tears without saying anything. Hui's birthday: When my sister-in-law came yesterday, I asked my brother to draw a picture of music and happiness. I stayed with my brother for a long time for fear that my sister would get angry. Now it's buried under the bone spring. I hope my sister can see the original and return it to Zhao Bi. Because of this painting, Yin Di stared at it for a long time. His face suddenly became ugly and he said angrily, What is my misfortune? If I die too late, why should I cherish it Huisheng pretended to persuade and retreated. Therefore, the heart disease was gradually solved, and in a short time, Huo Ran recovered unexpectedly. He threw his photo into the fire, supervised his family to go to the villa with an axe and a saw, and cut down all the begonia trees.

This is a story about a loving couple whose husband suddenly fell ill and died. His wife is heartbroken and misses her husband. She thinks about tea and rice all day and her body is getting thinner and thinner. Although she has been diagnosed and treated in many ways, it has no effect. Her brother angered her sister with a picture of "playing music", and then she felt comfortable, increased her diet, improved her sleep and recovered quickly. This is really a wonderful painting that replaces a good doctor. It's amazing!

Case 3: Zhang treated a rich Confucian girl who suffered from insomnia for two years because of excessive thinking, and there was no cure. Zhang diagnosed bradycardia in both hands and consulted with her husband for thinking of hurting the spleen. Zhang deliberately claimed property in front of the woman, ate and drank for several days, and then left without prescribing medicine. The woman was furious and sweaty, fell asleep at night, and insomnia was incurable. This example shows that if you think too much, it will hinder the regulation of people's behavior activities, leading to stagnation of qi due to lack of vital qi, or disharmony between yin and yang, and insomnia due to hyperactivity of yang without intercourse with yin. When anger is aroused, the opposite qi will break away from the accumulated qi, and the excited yang will be discharged due to sweating, leading to the recovery of yin and yang.

Case 4, "Continuing medical records? There is a typical case in Depression: "A woman loves her mother, but she got married and lost it. This woman is ill because she misses her mother. She is listless, exhausted, prone to lying, and bored with her chest and diaphragm. She is tired every day, so she shouldn't take medicine. Take a look: this disease is self-righteous and can't be cured by medicine. He believes in witchcraft, and Wutuo talks about misfortune and happiness, calling it Tong Bu. Because she asked her husband to tell her under the guise of bribery. My mother said that my daughter had a grudge against me in her last life. You were born in my life. When you hurt me, you killed me. I died because of you. Now that I am in the underworld, I will avenge you. Sick is mother and son, dead is enemy. The husband said to his wife, "if you are ill, I will go." What can I do with the witch? " ? The woman agreed. So I asked for help, just like my husband said. The woman was furious and said, "My mother is ill, but she loves me. Why should I consider it? " . If you don't think about it, the more you get sick. This is also anger. "In this case, we try to arouse patients to break through anxiety and make them change their psychological state again, so as to achieve the purpose of cure.

Examples of overcoming thinking with anger are the most common in China medical records, especially female patients, so I won't list them here. It can be seen from these medical records that doctors never care about personal gains and losses, and even take the risk of decapitation. It can be seen that doctors are single-minded about their patients.

sadder

Sorrow is the ambition of the lungs, and Chinese medicine regards sorrow and worry as two lungs in the collocation of five internal organs. Sadness is a great worry. Sadness is an emotional expression of sadness and sorrow. Too much sadness often involves heart, liver, spleen and other organ diseases by consuming lung qi. Such as lung-wasting, weak breath, depression and frustration, manifested as shortness of breath, chest tightness, listlessness, fatigue, laziness and other symptoms. When the liver is affected, liver injury can lead to insanity, even muscle spasm and hypochondriac discomfort. Excessive sadness can also cause internal injury of the heart and spirit, confusion and trance. Injury to the spleen leads to stomach qi stagnation, indigestion, abdominal distension, muscle atrophy of limbs and other symptoms. Among the five elements, lung belongs to gold, and fire can overcome gold. Sadness is greater than heart death, and joy is greater than heart death. Happiness makes the pulse comfortable, that is to say, proper celebration can restrict the pathological changes caused by excessive sadness. In case one, People's Daily reported that children who were victims of the Russian Beslan hostage incident came to China for treatment. This is a group of children who survived the terrorist incident. Some have lost relatives and friends, and some have lost their parents. Although the nightmare is far away, the bullet marks on their bodies are clearly discernible, and the trauma of their hearts is still difficult to heal. Due to excessive sadness, the qi and blood of human body are not running smoothly, which affects the dysfunction of lung, heart, liver and spleen. After receiving rehabilitation treatment in Sanya, Hainan, the children received "happy therapy", boxing, calligraphy, visiting and playing. A month later, the children's psychological trauma was repaired.

In case 2, Yu once met a female patient who died suddenly because of her husband's sudden death three months ago. She is very sad, depressed and frustrated, followed by shortness of breath, chest tightness, pain on both sides, irregular menstruation and other symptoms. After examination, no obvious organic lesions were found. Yu believes that the above symptoms are due to the patient's sadness, such as lung qi injury, neglect of regulating liver and discharging turbidity, and loss of blood support. I didn't prescribe a prescription, but told him to watch more comedies and movies, listen to relaxing music, play cards and dance when he was free. A month later, the patient told me that the symptoms disappeared and the menstruation was normal.

Case 3: Zhu Danxi, a famous doctor in Jin and Yuan Dynasties, once met a young scholar whose wife died suddenly shortly after marriage. He cried all day and was heartbroken, and finally fell ill. Seeking famous doctors and medicines, long-term treatment is ineffective. After feeling his pulse, Zhu Danxi said, "Your pulse is beating well. It seems that it has been several months. " The scholar burst into laughter and said, "Any famous doctor, regardless of gender, is a quack!" "Since then, every time I think about it, I will laugh naturally and often tell others about it as an anecdote to share the fun with you. A few months later, the scholar's appetite increased greatly, his mood was cheerful and his illness disappeared. At this time, I told him that this is a good way to overcome sadness with joy.

Case 4: During the Qing Dynasty, an adult was patrolling and was on tenterhooks all day. Several treatments have no effect, and the condition is getting worse and worse. On recommendation, the famous doctor went to see a doctor. When the famous doctor heard about it, he said to the governor, "You have irregular menstruation. Just take good care of it." The patrolman laughed and said, "What is this famous doctor? How can I be a man with irregular menstruation? It is ridiculous to the extreme. " Since then, every time I recall this incident, I always enjoy it with a smile. As time goes on, I become better. A year later, the famous doctor met the inspector again and said to him, "The disease you had in the past was stagnation of qi, and there was no good medicine. But if you are in a happy mood and can laugh often, your anger will be relaxed and you can be cured. " The patrol master suddenly realized and thanked him again and again.

There are inevitably sad things in the world, such as the death of relatives, the sudden death of friends, the separation of flesh and blood, and the misfortune of marriage, which will make people feel sad and lead to diseases. But there is no cure for these diseases at present, so doctors have adopted the treatment methods in the above cases and achieved satisfactory results.

be afraid

Fear is the ambition of the kidney, and Chinese medicine combines fear with the five internal organs to return to the kidney. As the saying goes, "scared me to death" is a true portrayal of fear. Fear is the psychological function of timidity and fear. Long-term fear or sudden and unexpected panic will damage the qi function of the kidney, which is called fear of hurting the kidney. The human body is too frightened, leading to deficiency of kidney qi, qi stagnation, incontinence, nocturnal emission and impotence. For fear of hurting the kidney, the essence can't be served, so the heart and lungs lose nutrition, and the fire and water don't rise, which shows symptoms such as fullness in the chest and abdomen, anxiety and insomnia at night.

The kidney in the five elements belongs to water, and the soil is like water, which may hurt the kidney and overcome fear, but fear will lead to anger. Thinking is a cognitive process that can restrain all kinds of emotional thinking activities. When people are afraid, as long as they calm down and think, they will eliminate the psychology of fear, so immediate thinking can restrict the pathological changes caused by excessive fear.

In the first case, "Seven Emotions of Ancient and Modern Medical Records" said: "A person suffering from heart disease sees things like lions. Teacher Yichuan taught him to grasp with his hands, and he healed for a long time without seeing anything. Can you really break the fallacy, and is it difficult for fallacy to modify the truth? "

Case 2, the medical record in "Continuing Medical Records Shocking the World": "Lu is not far from treating Shen, and he is afraid of death all day long, knocking on the number of turtles and divinations, and making the door of famous doctors. One day after seeing a doctor, Lu Wei took the prescription medicine and spoke a thousand words, which reassured him. The next morning, he went to see a doctor again, and ibadan 10 died. Lu stayed in lent, which emboldened him. He pointed out that Jingshan inquired about Zen master Gu's teaching method, participated in it for a hundred days, and his mind was stable and safe. Wu visited the pavilions and mountain houses in Dongying on the afternoon of May 5th and talked about his first fear. Gaijunyu is considerate, considering it out of the liver, not thinking. If you think, you will be determined, if you worry, you will move, and if you stay long, you will hurt your liver. Liver blood deficiency leads to fear. What is emotion? Nothing in the world can change its nature, but meditation, forgetting the thoughts inside, and studying the source of life outside, not feeling life and death, is also a great medicine for imperial fish. "

In addition, there are many cancer patients, and some are afraid that cancer will accelerate death; Some people are dismissive of cancer, and facing it correctly can prolong life. There are many clinical examples, so I won't talk about them here.

It can be seen that the best way to eliminate fear should be to calm down quickly and face it correctly. It is necessary to use correct principles in the treatment of patients to inspire and guide patients to think and correctly understand the essence of things, so as to overcome the morbid mood of patients with excessive fear. Only by reasoning and enlightening can patients be induced to seriously study the origin of life, put life and death aside, not be intimidated by death, naturally eliminate their fear, feel high and recover naturally.

shock

Essence is the ambition of the heart, and Chinese medicine matches essence with five internal organs and belongs to the heart. Idioms can be divided into "panic" and "surprise and accident". "panic" refers to panic, abnormal behavior and being at a loss; "Surprise and joy" means that shock and joy are often intertwined, which also shows that joy and surprise belong to the same heart. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that shock hurts the mind, making the human body's qi disorder and moving the mind internally. If people are frightened, they will be dumbfounded, delirious, insane, flustered, insomnia, upset and short of breath. Guilty people are easily frightened.

Among the five elements, the heart belongs to fire, and water can overcome fire, which makes you feel sad and afraid of victory and makes you angry. Qi disorder refers to the heart-qi disorder caused by sudden fright. When people are frightened, as long as they calm down quickly, the mental trauma caused by fright will be alleviated.

Case 1: It is recorded in the Medical Records of the Ming Dynasty that a doctor surnamed Zhou gave a frightened voice when treating a pregnant woman whose tongue could not be retracted, which surprised her and took her tongue back into her mouth, and the disease recovered. This medical record shows that "essence" is an invisible drug, which can cure the disease of maternal tongue contraction, and it is rare in clinic.

Case 2: Confucianism recorded that Wei Dexin's wife stayed upstairs during the trip, robbed, killed and set fire at night, and fell under the bed in shock. From then on, every time she heard a noise, she was shocked that she didn't know anyone. Her family stumbled and dared not touch the sound, and she didn't recover in her spare time. Various doctors treat heart disease, but ginseng, pearls and Zhi Ding pills are all ineffective. Dai Ren sees it as saying: those who are frightened are yang, entering from the outside, and those who are afraid are yin, leaving from the inside. People who are surprised know that they don't know what it is, but people who are afraid know it. The gallbladder meridian of foot shaoyang belongs to the liver wood, the brave dare to do it, and the fearful will be afraid of it. Ordered the second maid to put her hands on the high chair and put some on the chair in front of her. Dai Ren said, Madam should look at this. The woman was frightened when she hit it with one blow. Dai Ren said, "Why are you surprised when I hit you with a stick?" Fight if you wait less, and the impact is slow. Again, you have to call three or five times. He knocked on the door with his own stick, and secretly left a man behind to knock on the window. He was slowly shocked and smiled and said, "What disease?" Neijing said: "Those who are shocked are flat, those who are flat are often, and those who are vulgar are not surprised." In this case, the sick woman suffers from "phobia". Sick women are afraid because thieves steal in hotels, which makes sick women afraid of any sound. Zhang Congzheng used surprise to stop the alarm, which changed the patient's understanding of his fear and achieved immediate results.

Doctors in ancient China began to use emotion to treat diseases very early, and achieved ideal results, which were accepted by doctors in past dynasties. Emotional competition has laid a solid foundation for modern Chinese medicine psychology.

label

In people's real life, there are many examples of seven emotions causing diseases and treating diseases, and there are countless examples here.

The self-medication system of the human body refers to the self-protection system of the human body, which is called regulating the overall internal balance of the human body in Chinese medicine; It is called human immune regulation system in modern medicine. The reasons for people's illness are very complicated, but a considerable part of them are emotional injuries. As the saying goes, "heart disease must be heart medicine." Seven emotions therapy is one of the important means imposed by doctors in clinical practice, and it is an invisible drug in human body. Its curative effect often exceeds that of well-known tangible drugs, so that some foreign medical experts predict that psychotherapy will replace drug treatment.

The balance of seven emotions is the coordination of human viscera function and an important guarantee for preventing diseases. Too much or too little of seven emotions can lead to diseases, and winning seven emotions can cure diseases. If the seven emotions can be played correctly, they are seven medicines, and vice versa. However, when an emotion goes too far and leads to illness, we can use another "winning" emotion to "shift", "limit" or "balance" it, so that the excessive emotion can be reconciled. It can be seen that maintaining a peaceful mind is also an indispensable part of our health and disease prevention.

"People are not vegetation, who can be ruthless", as long as the mentality is good and the seven emotions are normal, it will not cause disease. You know, in fact, the seven emotions that really hurt people must be intense or lasting. Only by treating it correctly, learning to live a happy and focused life and not hurting yourself with bad emotions can we live a long and healthy life. There is a saying in Neijing that "the spirit stays inside, and the disease is always safe."
